Not Synced
So when I was eight years old,
-
Not Synced
a new girl came to join the class.
-
Not Synced
She was so impressive,
-
Not Synced
as the new girl always seems to be.
-
Not Synced
She had vast quantities of very shiny hair
-
Not Synced
and a cute little pencil case,
-
Not Synced
super-strong on state capitals,
-
Not Synced
just a great speller,
-
Not Synced
and I just curdled with jealousy that year,
-
Not Synced
until I hatched my devious plan.
-
Not Synced
So one day I stayed a little late after school,
-
Not Synced
a little too late, and I lurked in the girl's bathroom.
-
Not Synced
When the coast was clear, I emerged,
-
Not Synced
crept into the classroom,
-
Not Synced
and took from my teacher's desk the grade book.
-
Not Synced
And then I did it.
-
Not Synced
I fiddled with my rival's grades,
-
Not Synced
just a little, just demoted some of those A's.

It's funny, I can "edit" the subtitles and "finalize" them, but nothing happens after clicking on "Submit". Anyway, the book is called "The Sun also Rises" (Hemingway).
