Hey guys, Andre here.

Can we start now?

[OS female voice]: Mm. Good!

Cool. Okay… okay.
-
Hey guys, I’m here to talk to
you guys about one of my passions

that I have which is traveling
and share with you guys
-
three of my favourite or most
memorable travelling experiences.
-
[synth drum beat]
-
I think my first one is actually
probably the most recent one,
-
the one that I had in Ecuador.
[ding]
-
The whole Degrassi cast went
for a Free the Children trip.
-
♪ [Amadeus – Jojo Worthington]
-
It was a really amazing experience
and a really awesome trip in general
-
but there was one part of it that
I don’t think anybody really expected.
-
The whole cast had to do
this jungle food thing
-
and our tour guide was like,
'I’ve got this special treat for you.'
-
Comes in with a little bowl,
opens it up, and surprise, surprise,
-
they’re live grubs.
-
[ding]
-
No way I’m eating that!
And Ehren was super into eating it,
-
and even Ana and Chelsea
were into eating it and just…
-
aah. I was like, 'I don’t know
if I can do that!'
-
But I didn’t want to go home
and be the one guy who didn’t eat one.
-
So I was like, 'Okay, I'll eat one.'
We cheersed it and we ate it,
-
big fat grub [“fat grub” repeated]
-
Honestly, it was not…
it was not good at all.
-
If you put vomit into a pasta shell
and sealed it off and gave it
-
a little bug head, that’s exactly
what it tasted like; it was awful.
-
Hey, I ate a grub in Ecuador.
What did you do?
-
Another great trip
that I took – less gross –
-
I went on a European tour
with my mom. I started off in France.

My mom lived in France and Paris,
it was a really cool experience

because I could travel around Paris
and see all the sights and kinda have

this in-depth knowledge of what
my mom went through
-
and what she lived in
for her university time.

And then the place we
went to afterwards was Italy –

♪ [stereotypical Italian mandolin music]

At the time I was super into gladiators,
and Roman civilisation,

and how Rome had one of the
largest empires back then.

And I also went to the Vatican when
I was in Italy which was really cool.
-
Apparently the Vatican is its own
country and me as thirteen years old
-
thought it’d be really cool if I ran
around the Vatican so I could tell people

I ran around a whole country.

I think I just looked really dumb
compared to everyone else there.

don’t even remember what it’s called…

[ding] The London Eye, yeah,
it’s called the London Eye

and that was a sight to experience.

It was just an overall
really memorable trip.

I just had a really fun time
bonding with my mom

and going on that experience.
And the final one that I had

was my grade 12 trip,
my class drama trip to New York.

Neil Patrick Harris was starring in it

did crazy wacky stuff,

I saw a little play called
‘The Realistic Mr. Joneses’.

All my drama teachers were like,
‘Oh, this is so good!’

I’m just sitting there and I’m like,

three memorable moments about travelling!

I think travelling is probably
one of the most interesting
