I got frustrated with NASA and made this video. NASA is the most fascinating, adventurous, epic institution ever devised by human beings, and their media sucks. Seriously. None of their brilliant scientists appear to know how to connect with the social media crowd, which is now more important than ever. In fact, NASA is an institution whose funding directly depends on how the public views them.

In NASA's defense, they have embraced social media. I guess my point is that they don't fully understand how to best use it. In all of their brilliance, NASA seems to have forgotten to share their hopes and dreams in a way the public can relate to, leaving one of humanity's grandest projects with terrible PR and massive funding cuts.

Za čas kedy budeme pripravený osídliť iba tie najbližsie, iné planetárne systemy

Zmeníme sa

Jednoduchý prechod toľkých generácii nás zmení

Potreba nás zmení

Sme prispôsobivé stvorenie

Nebudeme to my, kto dosiahneme Alpha Centuri a iné blízke hviezdy

Budú to jedinci veľmi podobný nám

Ale s viacerými našimi silami

A s menej našimi slabosťami

Viac spoľahlivý, schopnejši a rozumnejší

Za všetky naše nedostatky, napriek našim obmedzeniam a omylnosti

My ludia, sme schopný užastných vecí

Aké nove divy o akých sa nám ani nesnívalo

Budú ukované v dalšej generácii?

A dalšej?

Ako ďaleko budú naše kočovné druhy putovať koncom dalšieho storočia?

A ďalšieho tisícročia?

Naši odľahlí potomkovia, bezpečne zoskupený na mnoho svetoch v solárnej sústave a zaňou

budú zjednotené

Ich spoločným posolstvom, ich ohľadom na domovskú planétu

A vedomosťou, že akýkoľvek iný život môže existovať, iba ľudia v celom vesmíre

Prišli zo Zeme

Budú hľadieť a usilovať sa najsť modrú bodku v ich oblohe

Budú sa čudovať aká zranitelná bola schránka celého našého potencionálu

Aké riskatné bolo naše detsvo

Aké skromné boli naše začiatky

Koľko riek sme museli prekročiť skôr ako sme si našli cestu.
