Guy McPherson talks about climate change, how human extinction seems evident in the near future - around 2030 or 2040 - after a following of scientific studies and predictions since 1847 which were always either accurate or surprised by a rise in temperature ( global warming ) ahead of those predictions. These exponential increases in temperature surprise the scientists when catapulted by new positive feedback loops every year, like the release of methane in the Arctic Sea in Siberia.
