Best Natural Hair Products & Remedies For Beautiful Hair From The Healthy Diet Paradise.com
-
0:09 - 0:10Hi, my name is Sheree from
-
0:10 - 0:11The Healthy Diet Paradise.com,
-
0:12 - 0:13and I would like to welcome you
-
0:13 - 0:15to our YouTube channel.
-
0:15 - 0:16Today we're going to discuss all of
-
0:16 - 0:18my favorite products.
-
0:18 - 0:19So get ready, because we're going
-
0:19 - 0:21to have some fun.
-
0:26 - 0:27The first thing I'd like to discuss is
-
0:27 - 0:29that we use single ingredients.
-
0:29 - 0:32It's very important to me because
-
0:32 - 0:33mother nature knows what she's doing.
-
0:33 - 0:36And the way it comes out of the
-
0:36 - 0:38ground, and the way that it's put into
-
0:38 - 0:41the bottle, that's what I use.
-
0:41 - 0:42The castor oil here.
-
0:42 - 0:43I've got 100% glycerine.
-
0:43 - 0:45I've got, you can't really see it, but
-
0:45 - 0:47it's olive oil.
-
0:47 - 0:50Right here, there is tea tree
-
0:50 - 0:54oil, more olive oil, glycerine, 100% pure
-
0:54 - 0:56vegetable glycerine, and East African
-
0:56 - 0:57shea butter.
-
0:57 - 0:58You know what I've found?
-
0:58 - 1:00I really love Swanson's brand.
-
1:00 - 1:01And I've tried other brands of shea
-
1:01 - 1:04butter, and I always go back to Swanson's.
-
1:04 - 1:06It's just the texture, the creaminess
-
1:06 - 1:07of it.
-
1:07 - 1:08It works for my skin and hair,
-
1:08 - 1:10and I really, really do love it.
-
1:10 - 1:13For shampoo, the most important thing
-
1:13 - 1:16to remember is to use what I think,
-
1:16 - 1:18you guys don't have to
-
1:18 - 1:18have to do this if you don't want to,
-
1:18 - 1:20but what I think is like a conditioning
-
1:20 - 1:22wash.
-
1:22 - 1:23Like, for example, in the black community,
-
1:23 - 1:25we call it co-washing.
-
1:25 - 1:27And it's kind of catching on in the rest
-
1:27 - 1:28of the community.
-
1:28 - 1:29Because our hair is very dry.
-
1:29 - 1:31And when you strip it with sulfates,
-
1:31 - 1:32it can kind of ruin the texture, and it
-
1:32 - 1:34can ruin a twist-out.
-
1:34 - 1:37So you want to use a co-wash,
-
1:37 - 1:39it's like a creamy shampoo, to get all the
-
1:39 - 1:41dirt out and all the oil out.
-
1:41 - 1:42And it really, really works.
-
1:42 - 1:44I mean, especially this As I Am
-
1:44 - 1:45is incredible.
-
1:45 - 1:47Get this, you can also use pure lemon
-
1:47 - 1:49juice, but we'll get to that later.
-
1:49 - 1:50Cantu shea butter does make a
-
1:50 - 1:52co-wash, but this one in particular
-
1:52 - 1:55is a sulfate-free cleansing.
-
1:55 - 1:56And it does lather.
-
1:56 - 1:57So it smells amazing.
-
1:57 - 1:59I just love Cantu shea.
-
1:59 - 2:01And it's extremely reasonable price-wise.
-
2:01 - 2:03And it's absolutely something I always
-
2:03 - 2:04have in my house.
-
2:04 - 2:06It's moisturizing, it's nourishing, it's
-
2:06 - 2:13absolutely delicious.
-
2:13 - 2:15Okay. Now, this is L'Oreal, and for
-
2:15 - 2:18whatever reason, I keep going back to it.
-
2:18 - 2:20It just smells absolutely wonderful.
-
2:20 - 2:23It's creamy, it's rich, it's sulfate free,
-
2:23 - 2:25and it's expensive, and it's
-
2:25 - 2:26worth every cent.
-
2:26 - 2:27I love this stuff.
-
2:27 - 2:28And I use the shampoo and conditioner.
-
2:28 - 2:30The only thing that bugs me is like
-
2:30 - 2:31like when you're squeezing it out,
-
2:31 - 2:33the container kind of squishes on
-
2:33 - 2:35itself, and it doesn't bend right back
-
2:35 - 2:36into shape.
-
2:36 - 2:37Other than that, I think it's one of
-
2:37 - 2:38the best products on the market.
-
2:38 - 2:40And you guys, if I'm not mistaken,
-
2:40 - 2:42Lancôme makes L'Oreal products.
-
2:42 - 2:44You can correct me on that if I'm wrong,
-
2:44 - 2:46but they're just outstanding, and I think
-
2:46 - 2:48they're top of the line, top grade.
-
2:48 - 2:49So this is another thing I keep in my
-
2:49 - 2:55house all the time.
-
2:55 - 2:58Okay. Now, here, for a twist-out that
-
2:58 - 2:59looks like this, basically, all I'm
-
2:59 - 3:01really -- that's a twist out,
-
3:01 - 3:02okay, that's the back of my head.
-
3:02 - 3:05And for basically a twist-out, all I
-
3:05 - 3:11really do is use As I Am co-wash first,
-
3:11 - 3:14then I'll lather my hair with leave-in
-
3:14 - 3:16conditioner and twisting cream.
-
3:16 - 3:18And I'll twist it with gel.
-
3:18 - 3:20It's not really a gel, it's more
-
3:20 - 3:21like a cream.
-
3:21 - 3:22And I'll twist it, and that's what the
-
3:22 - 3:24twist-out looks like when I'm done.
-
3:24 - 3:25I just fluff it out, and you're done.
-
3:25 - 3:27But sometimes the curls don't stay,
-
3:27 - 3:28so you have to kind of water it.
-
3:28 - 3:30And girls, don't be afraid of your water.
-
3:30 - 3:33Especially people with hair textures like
-
3:33 - 3:34mine, more kinky/curly hair texture,
-
3:34 - 3:36don't be afraid of water.
-
3:36 - 3:37That's your best friend.
-
3:37 - 3:38Spray, spray, spray it with water
-
3:38 - 3:39every single day, even twice a day.
-
3:39 - 3:41It will make your twist-outs stand out,
-
3:41 - 3:43and they'll last longer, and you'll be
-
3:43 - 3:45in heaven.
-
3:45 - 3:46Water's your best friend.
-
3:46 - 3:47And get this, your hair will grow longer.
-
3:47 - 3:48So that's a good idea.
-
3:52 - 3:54This is the number one question I get
-
3:54 - 3:55asked about in coaching,
-
3:55 - 3:58what kind of color do I put on my hair.
-
3:58 - 4:01See, the thing is, our hair loss diet does
-
4:01 - 4:06retard aging, and it does retard graying,
-
4:06 - 4:07but it's not 100%.
-
4:07 - 4:09I'm under a lot of stress.
-
4:09 - 4:10I know a lot of you guys are.
-
4:10 - 4:11And it does cause the gray hairs to
-
4:11 - 4:13pop up more than they would or
-
4:13 - 4:14more than they should.
-
4:14 - 4:18So for whatever the fo-ti does not cover,
-
4:18 - 4:21which fo-ti is a gray retardant, okay,
-
4:21 - 4:24so if you're using fo-ti and chlorophyll,
-
4:24 - 4:26and you're still noticing the gray hair,
-
4:26 - 4:29go ahead and get you some beautiful
-
4:29 - 4:31henna and indigo to darken your hair.
-
4:31 - 4:33I do not know how to use plant extracts
-
4:33 - 4:34to lighten hair.
-
4:34 - 4:36You guys have to do research on that.
-
4:36 - 4:37All I know how to do is darken it.
-
4:37 - 4:40So you use -- you mix half -- you take
-
4:40 - 4:44the henna by itself, you mix it
-
4:44 - 4:45with water.
-
4:45 - 4:46Everyone in the world is going to tell
-
4:46 - 4:48you to use lemon juice, use tea.
-
4:48 - 4:49You don't have to do any of that.
-
4:49 - 4:51Warm water, mix it up into a paste,
-
4:51 - 4:53and put it on your hair, leave it for
-
4:53 - 4:54three or four hours.
-
4:54 - 4:56And let me tell you something,
-
4:56 - 4:57I've done it without gloves, and the
-
4:57 - 4:59texture is extraordinary.
-
4:59 - 5:01It is the most beautiful texture.
-
5:01 - 5:03And then you rinse the henna out.
-
5:03 - 5:04When you're done, you do the same thing
-
5:04 - 5:05with the indigo.
-
5:05 - 5:08You take water, mix it into a paste,
-
5:08 - 5:10and leave it on your hair.
-
5:10 - 5:11I leave the indigo longer.
-
5:11 - 5:13I leave the indigo on for like four or
-
5:13 - 5:14five hours.
-
5:14 - 5:16Rinse it out, and no one can tell you had
-
5:16 - 5:17your hair done.
-
5:17 - 5:19It doesn't look like a block of color
-
5:19 - 5:21the way box color does.
-
5:21 - 5:24And I really just love henna and indigo.
-
5:24 - 5:27So it's really, really easy once you get
-
5:27 - 5:28the hang of it.
-
5:28 - 5:30And if you use Silk & Stone, from my
-
5:30 - 5:32experience, what I've done,
-
5:32 - 5:33is just plain old warm water.
-
5:33 - 5:34And if you do anything else, you're just
-
5:34 - 5:36adding to the burden, because it's kind
-
5:36 - 5:39of a pain in the butt to do the mixing
-
5:39 - 5:41anyway, so make it easy on yourself.
-
5:43 - 5:46For people with burning, itching,
-
5:46 - 5:48irritated scalp, there's nothing
-
5:48 - 5:50on this earth that I love
-
5:50 - 5:56more than pure, unadulterated lemon juice.
-
5:56 - 5:58And I'm not talking about the kind
-
5:58 - 5:59you buy in a bottle in the store,
-
5:59 - 6:00because that's not lemon juice.
-
6:00 - 6:02That stuff smells funny.
-
6:02 - 6:03I only use that in an absolute emergency
-
6:03 - 6:05if I literally don't have anything else,
-
6:05 - 6:07and I have like a recipe or something.
-
6:07 - 6:09For your scalp, the only thing that will
-
6:09 - 6:11work that I've seen that's 100% natural
-
6:11 - 6:14is 100% pure lemon juice taken
-
6:14 - 6:15straight from the lemon.
-
6:15 - 6:17You take the lemon, you cut it up,
-
6:17 - 6:20and you have to strain the lemon,
-
6:20 - 6:23extract the juice, take it and put it
-
6:23 - 6:25into a little spray bottle like this one,
-
6:25 - 6:26and spray it on your scalp.
-
6:26 - 6:29Get a plastic cap, and leave it on
-
6:29 - 6:31there for about I'd say an hour.
-
6:31 - 6:33And you'll never use anti-dandruff
-
6:33 - 6:34shampoo again.
-
6:35 - 6:36I'm not even sure if -- it might work for
-
6:36 - 6:37dermatitis too.
-
6:38 - 6:40This stuff is amazing.
-
6:40 - 6:42When I discovered this, I was so mad,
-
6:42 - 6:44I never used the dandruff shampoo
-
6:44 - 6:45I had in the house again,
-
6:45 - 6:47because this stuff is a miracle,
-
6:47 - 6:48as far as I'm concerned.
-
6:48 - 6:49I love it.
-
6:51 - 6:53So as of about a year and a half,
-
6:53 - 6:55or two years ago, I started using banding,
-
6:55 - 6:57and I noticed my hair got longer.
-
6:57 - 7:01So in my opinion, heat is fine as long
-
7:01 - 7:03as you're not using a comb attachment.
-
7:03 - 7:05But if you're using heat, try to keep the
-
7:05 - 7:07blow dryer on a medium to low setting.
-
7:08 - 7:11And absolutely do not use that thin comb,
-
7:11 - 7:12because that comb does not work for
-
7:12 - 7:14our hair type, and it will burn your hair.
-
7:14 - 7:16Dr. Oz says that any heat will burn your
-
7:16 - 7:18hair, and I believe that, I really do.
-
7:18 - 7:20Especially since I found this out.
-
7:20 - 7:23So I kind of feel like a dummy for doing
-
7:23 - 7:25that, but you know, you live and learn.
-
7:25 - 7:26So, you know, learn from me.
-
7:26 - 7:28Don't make the mistake that I made.
-
7:32 - 7:34Here's one of the greatest discoveries
-
7:34 - 7:35I've made in quite a while.
-
7:35 - 7:38This has nothing to do with hair,
-
7:38 - 7:39but I had to give it to you guys.
-
7:39 - 7:40I love it.
-
7:40 - 7:43It's called InVitamin All Natural Tooth
-
7:43 - 7:46and Gum Powder Activated Charcoal.
-
7:46 - 7:48Even my kid can use this, my 11-year-old
-
7:48 - 7:50daughter can use this on her teeth.
-
7:50 - 7:53And I'm not kidding, with the first brush,
-
7:53 - 7:56you will notice maybe one to two shades
-
7:56 - 7:59brighter, and with each successive
-
7:59 - 8:01use, after five uses, your teeth will
-
8:01 - 8:02be brilliant.
-
8:02 - 8:04It does not get the teeth as white as
-
8:04 - 8:07Crest White Strips, but you're not worried
-
8:07 - 8:08about damage either.
-
8:08 - 8:09You're not going to have any of
-
8:09 - 8:11the damage, and your teeth are really,
-
8:11 - 8:13really way whiter.
-
8:13 - 8:14And if you get a pick and can pick in
-
8:14 - 8:15in between your teeth, you can really
-
8:15 - 8:17get a lot of the old stuff that's probably
-
8:17 - 8:20in your teeth between dentist visits.
-
8:20 - 8:22But I adore this stuff.
-
8:22 - 8:22It's like, where have you been
-
8:22 - 8:23all my life.
-
8:23 - 8:24I can't believe I hadn't
-
8:24 - 8:25learned about this.
-
8:25 - 8:26I've only been using this for around
-
8:26 - 8:27for around six months.
-
8:28 - 8:29And I won't do without it.
-
8:29 - 8:30I'm going to order it again, and I'm
-
8:30 - 8:31in love with it.
-
8:37 - 8:39Scientists want to make it so difficult
-
8:39 - 8:40to reverse hair loss.
-
8:40 - 8:41And we make it so easy.
-
8:41 - 8:42It's very simple.
-
8:43 - 8:44Take it from mother earth.
-
8:44 - 8:45You can reverse your hair loss
-
8:45 - 8:46on your own.
-
8:46 - 8:47Be very gentle with your hair,
-
8:47 - 8:49and compassionate to your hair,
-
8:49 - 8:50and be compassionate to yourself.
-
8:50 - 8:52You can do it.
-
8:52 - 8:54Make sure to visit our hair loss diet
-
8:54 - 8:56academy, and we'll see you at
-
8:56 - 8:57The Healthy Diet Paradise.com.
-
8:57 - 9:00And have a wonderful day.
