  • 0:09 - 0:10
Hi, my name is Sheree from
  • 0:10 - 0:11
    The Healthy Diet Paradise.com,
  • 0:12 - 0:13
and I would like to welcome you
  • 0:13 - 0:15
    to our YouTube channel.
  • 0:15 - 0:16
Today we're going to discuss all of
  • 0:16 - 0:18
    my favorite products.
  • 0:18 - 0:19
So get ready, because we're going
  • 0:19 - 0:21
    to have some fun.
  • 0:26 - 0:27
The first thing I'd like to discuss is
  • 0:27 - 0:29
    that we use single ingredients.
  • 0:29 - 0:32
It's very important to me because
  • 0:32 - 0:33
mother nature knows what she's doing.
  • 0:33 - 0:36
And the way it comes out of the
  • 0:36 - 0:38
ground, and the way that it's put into
  • 0:38 - 0:41
the bottle, that's what I use.
  • 0:41 - 0:42
    The castor oil here.
  • 0:42 - 0:43
    I've got 100% glycerine.
  • 0:43 - 0:45
I've got, you can't really see it, but
  • 0:45 - 0:47
    it's olive oil.
  • 0:47 - 0:50
Right here, there is tea tree
  • 0:50 - 0:54
oil, more olive oil, glycerine, 100% pure
  • 0:54 - 0:56
    vegetable glycerine, and East African
  • 0:56 - 0:57
    shea butter.
  • 0:57 - 0:58
    You know what I've found?
  • 0:58 - 1:00
    I really love Swanson's brand.
  • 1:00 - 1:01
And I've tried other brands of shea
  • 1:01 - 1:04
butter, and I always go back to Swanson's.
  • 1:04 - 1:06
It's just the texture, the creaminess
  • 1:06 - 1:07
    of it.
  • 1:07 - 1:08
It works for my skin and hair,
  • 1:08 - 1:10
and I really, really do love it.
  • 1:10 - 1:13
For shampoo, the most important thing
  • 1:13 - 1:16
to remember is to use what I think,
  • 1:16 - 1:18
    you guys don't have to
  • 1:18 - 1:18
have to do this if you don't want to,
  • 1:18 - 1:20
but what I think is like a conditioning
  • 1:20 - 1:22
    wash.
  • 1:22 - 1:23
Like, for example, in the black community,
  • 1:23 - 1:25
    we call it co-washing.
  • 1:25 - 1:27
And it's kind of catching on in the rest
  • 1:27 - 1:28
    of the community.
  • 1:28 - 1:29
Because our hair is very dry.
  • 1:29 - 1:31
And when you strip it with sulfates,
  • 1:31 - 1:32
it can kind of ruin the texture, and it
  • 1:32 - 1:34
    can ruin a twist-out.
  • 1:34 - 1:37
So you want to use a co-wash,
  • 1:37 - 1:39
it's like a creamy shampoo, to get all the
  • 1:39 - 1:41
dirt out and all the oil out.
  • 1:41 - 1:42
    And it really, really works.
  • 1:42 - 1:44
I mean, especially this As I Am
  • 1:44 - 1:45
    is incredible.
  • 1:45 - 1:47
Get this, you can also use pure lemon
  • 1:47 - 1:49
juice, but we'll get to that later.
  • 1:49 - 1:50
Cantu shea butter does make a
  • 1:50 - 1:52
co-wash, but this one in particular
  • 1:52 - 1:55
    is a sulfate-free cleansing.
  • 1:55 - 1:56
    And it does lather.
  • 1:56 - 1:57
    So it smells amazing.
  • 1:57 - 1:59
    I just love Cantu shea.
  • 1:59 - 2:01
    And it's extremely reasonable price-wise.
  • 2:01 - 2:03
And it's absolutely something I always
  • 2:03 - 2:04
    have in my house.
  • 2:04 - 2:06
    It's moisturizing, it's nourishing, it's
  • 2:06 - 2:13
    absolutely delicious.
  • 2:13 - 2:15
Okay. Now, this is L'Oreal, and for
  • 2:15 - 2:18
whatever reason, I keep going back to it.
  • 2:18 - 2:20
    It just smells absolutely wonderful.
  • 2:20 - 2:23
    It's creamy, it's rich, it's sulfate free,
  • 2:23 - 2:25
    and it's expensive, and it's
  • 2:25 - 2:26
    worth every cent.
  • 2:26 - 2:27
    I love this stuff.
  • 2:27 - 2:28
And I use the shampoo and conditioner.
  • 2:28 - 2:30
The only thing that bugs me is like
  • 2:30 - 2:31
like when you're squeezing it out,
  • 2:31 - 2:33
the container kind of squishes on
  • 2:33 - 2:35
itself, and it doesn't bend right back
  • 2:35 - 2:36
    into shape.
  • 2:36 - 2:37
Other than that, I think it's one of
  • 2:37 - 2:38
the best products on the market.
  • 2:38 - 2:40
And you guys, if I'm not mistaken,
  • 2:40 - 2:42
    Lancôme makes L'Oreal products.
  • 2:42 - 2:44
You can correct me on that if I'm wrong,
  • 2:44 - 2:46
but they're just outstanding, and I think
  • 2:46 - 2:48
they're top of the line, top grade.
  • 2:48 - 2:49
So this is another thing I keep in my
  • 2:49 - 2:55
    house all the time.
  • 2:55 - 2:58
Okay. Now, here, for a twist-out that
  • 2:58 - 2:59
looks like this, basically, all I'm
  • 2:59 - 3:01
    really -- that's a twist out,
  • 3:01 - 3:02
okay, that's the back of my head.
  • 3:02 - 3:05
    And for basically a twist-out, all I
  • 3:05 - 3:11
really do is use As I Am co-wash first,
  • 3:11 - 3:14
then I'll lather my hair with leave-in
  • 3:14 - 3:16
    conditioner and twisting cream.
  • 3:16 - 3:18
And I'll twist it with gel.
  • 3:18 - 3:20
    It's not really a gel, it's more
  • 3:20 - 3:21
    like a cream.
  • 3:21 - 3:22
And I'll twist it, and that's what the
  • 3:22 - 3:24
twist-out looks like when I'm done.
  • 3:24 - 3:25
I just fluff it out, and you're done.
  • 3:25 - 3:27
But sometimes the curls don't stay,
  • 3:27 - 3:28
so you have to kind of water it.
  • 3:28 - 3:30
And girls, don't be afraid of your water.
  • 3:30 - 3:33
Especially people with hair textures like
  • 3:33 - 3:34
    mine, more kinky/curly hair texture,
  • 3:34 - 3:36
    don't be afraid of water.
  • 3:36 - 3:37
    That's your best friend.
  • 3:37 - 3:38
Spray, spray, spray it with water
  • 3:38 - 3:39
every single day, even twice a day.
  • 3:39 - 3:41
It will make your twist-outs stand out,
  • 3:41 - 3:43
and they'll last longer, and you'll be
  • 3:43 - 3:45
    in heaven.
  • 3:45 - 3:46
    Water's your best friend.
  • 3:46 - 3:47
And get this, your hair will grow longer.
  • 3:47 - 3:48
    So that's a good idea.
  • 3:52 - 3:54
This is the number one question I get
  • 3:54 - 3:55
    asked about in coaching,
  • 3:55 - 3:58
what kind of color do I put on my hair.
  • 3:58 - 4:01
See, the thing is, our hair loss diet does
  • 4:01 - 4:06
retard aging, and it does retard graying,
  • 4:06 - 4:07
    but it's not 100%.
  • 4:07 - 4:09
I'm under a lot of stress.
  • 4:09 - 4:10
I know a lot of you guys are.
  • 4:10 - 4:11
And it does cause the gray hairs to
  • 4:11 - 4:13
pop up more than they would or
  • 4:13 - 4:14
    more than they should.
  • 4:14 - 4:18
So for whatever the fo-ti does not cover,
  • 4:18 - 4:21
which fo-ti is a gray retardant, okay,
  • 4:21 - 4:24
so if you're using fo-ti and chlorophyll,
  • 4:24 - 4:26
and you're still noticing the gray hair,
  • 4:26 - 4:29
go ahead and get you some beautiful
  • 4:29 - 4:31
henna and indigo to darken your hair.
  • 4:31 - 4:33
I do not know how to use plant extracts
  • 4:33 - 4:34
    to lighten hair.
  • 4:34 - 4:36
You guys have to do research on that.
  • 4:36 - 4:37
All I know how to do is darken it.
  • 4:37 - 4:40
So you use -- you mix half -- you take
  • 4:40 - 4:44
the henna by itself, you mix it
  • 4:44 - 4:45
    with water.
  • 4:45 - 4:46
Everyone in the world is going to tell
  • 4:46 - 4:48
you to use lemon juice, use tea.
  • 4:48 - 4:49
You don't have to do any of that.
  • 4:49 - 4:51
Warm water, mix it up into a paste,
  • 4:51 - 4:53
and put it on your hair, leave it for
  • 4:53 - 4:54
    three or four hours.
  • 4:54 - 4:56
And let me tell you something,
  • 4:56 - 4:57
I've done it without gloves, and the
  • 4:57 - 4:59
    texture is extraordinary.
  • 4:59 - 5:01
It is the most beautiful texture.
  • 5:01 - 5:03
And then you rinse the henna out.
  • 5:03 - 5:04
When you're done, you do the same thing
  • 5:04 - 5:05
    with the indigo.
  • 5:05 - 5:08
You take water, mix it into a paste,
  • 5:08 - 5:10
and leave it on your hair.
  • 5:10 - 5:11
    I leave the indigo longer.
  • 5:11 - 5:13
I leave the indigo on for like four or
  • 5:13 - 5:14
    five hours.
  • 5:14 - 5:16
Rinse it out, and no one can tell you had
  • 5:16 - 5:17
    your hair done.
  • 5:17 - 5:19
It doesn't look like a block of color
  • 5:19 - 5:21
    the way box color does.
  • 5:21 - 5:24
And I really just love henna and indigo.
  • 5:24 - 5:27
So it's really, really easy once you get
  • 5:27 - 5:28
    the hang of it.
  • 5:28 - 5:30
And if you use Silk & Stone, from my
  • 5:30 - 5:32
    experience, what I've done,
  • 5:32 - 5:33
is just plain old warm water.
  • 5:33 - 5:34
And if you do anything else, you're just
  • 5:34 - 5:36
adding to the burden, because it's kind
  • 5:36 - 5:39
of a pain in the butt to do the mixing
  • 5:39 - 5:41
anyway, so make it easy on yourself.
  • 5:43 - 5:46
    For people with burning, itching,
  • 5:46 - 5:48
    irritated scalp, there's nothing
  • 5:48 - 5:50
on this earth that I love
  • 5:50 - 5:56
more than pure, unadulterated lemon juice.
  • 5:56 - 5:58
And I'm not talking about the kind
  • 5:58 - 5:59
you buy in a bottle in the store,
  • 5:59 - 6:00
    because that's not lemon juice.
  • 6:00 - 6:02
    That stuff smells funny.
  • 6:02 - 6:03
I only use that in an absolute emergency
  • 6:03 - 6:05
if I literally don't have anything else,
  • 6:05 - 6:07
and I have like a recipe or something.
  • 6:07 - 6:09
For your scalp, the only thing that will
  • 6:09 - 6:11
    work that I've seen that's 100% natural
  • 6:11 - 6:14
is 100% pure lemon juice taken
  • 6:14 - 6:15
    straight from the lemon.
  • 6:15 - 6:17
You take the lemon, you cut it up,
  • 6:17 - 6:20
and you have to strain the lemon,
  • 6:20 - 6:23
extract the juice, take it and put it
  • 6:23 - 6:25
into a little spray bottle like this one,
  • 6:25 - 6:26
and spray it on your scalp.
  • 6:26 - 6:29
Get a plastic cap, and leave it on
  • 6:29 - 6:31
there for about I'd say an hour.
  • 6:31 - 6:33
    And you'll never use anti-dandruff
  • 6:33 - 6:34
    shampoo again.
  • 6:35 - 6:36
I'm not even sure if -- it might work for
  • 6:36 - 6:37
    dermatitis too.
  • 6:38 - 6:40
    This stuff is amazing.
  • 6:40 - 6:42
When I discovered this, I was so mad,
  • 6:42 - 6:44
I never used the dandruff shampoo
  • 6:44 - 6:45
I had in the house again,
  • 6:45 - 6:47
because this stuff is a miracle,
  • 6:47 - 6:48
    as far as I'm concerned.
  • 6:48 - 6:49
    I love it.
  • 6:51 - 6:53
So as of about a year and a half,
  • 6:53 - 6:55
or two years ago, I started using banding,
  • 6:55 - 6:57
and I noticed my hair got longer.
  • 6:57 - 7:01
So in my opinion, heat is fine as long
  • 7:01 - 7:03
as you're not using a comb attachment.
  • 7:03 - 7:05
But if you're using heat, try to keep the
  • 7:05 - 7:07
blow dryer on a medium to low setting.
  • 7:08 - 7:11
And absolutely do not use that thin comb,
  • 7:11 - 7:12
because that comb does not work for
  • 7:12 - 7:14
our hair type, and it will burn your hair.
  • 7:14 - 7:16
Dr. Oz says that any heat will burn your
  • 7:16 - 7:18
hair, and I believe that, I really do.
  • 7:18 - 7:20
Especially since I found this out.
  • 7:20 - 7:23
So I kind of feel like a dummy for doing
  • 7:23 - 7:25
that, but you know, you live and learn.
  • 7:25 - 7:26
So, you know, learn from me.
  • 7:26 - 7:28
Don't make the mistake that I made.
  • 7:32 - 7:34
Here's one of the greatest discoveries
  • 7:34 - 7:35
I've made in quite a while.
  • 7:35 - 7:38
This has nothing to do with hair,
  • 7:38 - 7:39
but I had to give it to you guys.
  • 7:39 - 7:40
    I love it.
  • 7:40 - 7:43
It's called InVitamin All Natural Tooth
  • 7:43 - 7:46
    and Gum Powder Activated Charcoal.
  • 7:46 - 7:48
Even my kid can use this, my 11-year-old
  • 7:48 - 7:50
daughter can use this on her teeth.
  • 7:50 - 7:53
And I'm not kidding, with the first brush,
  • 7:53 - 7:56
you will notice maybe one to two shades
  • 7:56 - 7:59
    brighter, and with each successive
  • 7:59 - 8:01
use, after five uses, your teeth will
  • 8:01 - 8:02
    be brilliant.
  • 8:02 - 8:04
It does not get the teeth as white as
  • 8:04 - 8:07
Crest White Strips, but you're not worried
  • 8:07 - 8:08
    about damage either.
  • 8:08 - 8:09
You're not going to have any of
  • 8:09 - 8:11
the damage, and your teeth are really,
  • 8:11 - 8:13
    really way whiter.
  • 8:13 - 8:14
And if you get a pick and can pick in
  • 8:14 - 8:15
in between your teeth, you can really
  • 8:15 - 8:17
get a lot of the old stuff that's probably
  • 8:17 - 8:20
in your teeth between dentist visits.
  • 8:20 - 8:22
    But I adore this stuff.
  • 8:22 - 8:22
It's like, where have you been
  • 8:22 - 8:23
    all my life.
  • 8:23 - 8:24
    I can't believe I hadn't
  • 8:24 - 8:25
    learned about this.
  • 8:25 - 8:26
I've only been using this for around
  • 8:26 - 8:27
    for around six months.
  • 8:28 - 8:29
And I won't do without it.
  • 8:29 - 8:30
I'm going to order it again, and I'm
  • 8:30 - 8:31
    in love with it.
  • 8:37 - 8:39
Scientists want to make it so difficult
  • 8:39 - 8:40
    to reverse hair loss.
  • 8:40 - 8:41
And we make it so easy.
  • 8:41 - 8:42
    It's very simple.
  • 8:43 - 8:44
    Take it from mother earth.
  • 8:44 - 8:45
You can reverse your hair loss
  • 8:45 - 8:46
    on your own.
  • 8:46 - 8:47
Be very gentle with your hair,
  • 8:47 - 8:49
    and compassionate to your hair,
  • 8:49 - 8:50
    and be compassionate to yourself.
  • 8:50 - 8:52
    You can do it.
  • 8:52 - 8:54
Make sure to visit our hair loss diet
  • 8:54 - 8:56
academy, and we'll see you at
  • 8:56 - 8:57
    The Healthy Diet Paradise.com.
  • 8:57 - 9:00
    And have a wonderful day.
