Click Your Fortune #2: Imagined careers - Alessandro Centrone

  • 0:05 - 0:06
    I always had the idea
  • 0:06 - 0:09
that I wanted to work for company
  • 0:09 - 0:11
    maybe in the financial world.
  • 0:11 - 0:15
Maybe I was somehow biased and affected
  • 0:15 - 0:17
    by movies like "Wall Street".
  • 0:17 - 0:19
So, I grew up in Italy
  • 0:19 - 0:21
and watching movies like "Wall Street"
  • 0:21 - 0:24
    where movies that were picturing
  • 0:24 - 0:26
    this image of successful people
  • 0:26 - 0:29
managing in a very successful business environment
  • 0:29 - 0:32
and it was something that was really intriguing,
  • 0:32 - 0:34
only to find out later on
  • 0:34 - 0:36
that the world is not exactly
  • 0:36 - 0:38
what you see in those movies.
  • 0:38 - 0:40
But I guess I had a clear idea
  • 0:40 - 0:44
that I was very attracted by a career
  • 0:44 - 0:46
    in an international enviornment
  • 0:46 - 0:50
and an environment where corporate challenges
  • 0:50 - 0:51
were probably one of the things
  • 0:51 - 0:53
    that would have interested me.
  • 0:53 - 0:55
So, I think it turned out
  • 0:55 - 0:57
that things were not so much different
  • 0:57 - 1:00
from what I projected when I was in grade school.
