S: Multiple cases of this kind have been reported
during the past 2 years

in Hoover, a town situated close to Alamosa.

Could this be extraterrestrial activity?

You know, before the Red Lodge Murders
there were numerous incidents

where cattle were killed and
all their blood was drained.

Then, the cattle mutilations started.

According to police reports

the 5 who were killed in the incidents

had all moved into the town 3 years before.

Dad thought a demon might be behind it.

But now the same thing is happening in Colorado.

The Hoover mutilations started 2 years ago.

Now what?

We're supposed to go find everyone who
moved there 2 years ago?

(Sam sighs)

Y'know, I bet Dad read about this too.

Well, alright. We got no choice.

keep an eye on that guy.

S: Yeah, I agree.

Maybe we should take turns watching him.

I'll take the afternoon shift.

(Dean grunts)

(footsteps approaching)

(wolf howls)

(Dean groans)

D: OK, that hurt.

Gail: What do you think you're doing?

D: Who knew such a wimpy father
could be a big, tough vampire?

Gail: What do you want with my son?

D: What's the matter?

You got something against Ryan
having friends, all of a sudden?

Gail: So you made friends with Ryan
so you can get to me.

and have a father you don't get along with.

When we get thirsty

we drink the blood of cows

or any other animal we can find.

All we ever wanted was a quiet life

that we would leave them alone.

But then, 12 years ago.

(gunshot)

(dogs barking)

(quick breathing)

(dogs barking)

Hurry, run run!

Miranda: I can't.

Gail: Miranda, please.

Miranda: Gail, take the baby.

Go NOOOWWWW!

(dogs barking)

(quick breathing)

(Miranda screams)

(Gail cries)

D: So, then

that silver bullet in your house?

Gail: It's all I have left.

She was decapitated

and all of her belongings were taken away.

The only thing that was left
was that bullet and her body.

D: And Ryan?

Does he know he's a vampire?

Gail: I always knew the day would come
when he'd find out.

I'll never forget the rage I felt back then

and I've tried my best to hide it from Ryan.

D: When were you planning on telling him?

Gail: First, I had to teach him to
suppress the rage

like a trigger in the wakening.

That's why I tried to make his life
as peaceful as possible.

Because, once the headaches start

there's no turning back.

D: Uhh, oh man.

I think I may have accidentally had a hand
in his awakening.

(Ryan groans painfully)

Gail: Let Ryan and I go.

D: What kind of assurances can you give me
that you'll never attack a human?

Gail: I'm a father!

D: Alright. Deal.

do anything to put him in harms way?

(Ryan's pain increases)

(gunshot)

(Gail grunts with each shot)

Jason: Those pure silver bullets

certainly seem to cause him a
nice amount of pain.

Dean: Jason!
You bastard!

Wait a minute!

Jason: Hey, there's nothing wrong
with a vampire hunter

killing a vampire.

Otherwise, you'd be dead meat right now.

D: He doesn't prey on humans.

Jason: Not anymore he doesn't.

I always said you were
going soft, Winchester.

You should watch and learn

what it takes to be a good hunter.

This is a custom made knife

soaked in the blood of the dead.

I'm gonna take my time with this one.

Now, don't you go passing out

before I've had my fun.

It's so much more satisfying

to cut off a vampire's head
while he's still thrashing

and kicking and screaming in pain.

D: Jason, stop!

Ryan: He's the one

Jason: You better let go, monster.

You're gonna need to conserve your strength.

D: You're the one who's the monster, Jason.

This guy is more human
than you can ever hope to be.

(signature music starts)

Jason: Goodbye, Winchester.

Gail: It's time for you to pay for
what you did to Miranda.

(Jason grunts)

You don't deserve to be called human.

Jason: You gentlemen seem to have
the wrong impression of me.

My job is to kill and I take
great pride in my work.

You've turned out to be even
softer than your father, Dean.

(Gunshots)

(Dean breathes quickly)

Dean: Sam!

(Sam quick breaths)

Sam: Noone talks about Dad like that.

I didn't hit any vital organs.

He'll live.

You better get those looked at
if you want to live.

Dean: Maybe you can learn from this, Jason
