The Mega Huge Football Game Ad Newcastle Could've Made

  • 0:08 - 0:13
We would have opened on a desert island, where a castaway washes ashore.
  • 0:13 - 0:16
He spots a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale, pops it open, and boom!
  • 0:16 - 0:19
Like two hundred women in bikinis would have appeared.
  • 0:19 - 0:24
And they're lead by award-winning, extremely well respected actress, Anna Kendrick.
  • 0:24 - 0:26
And she's wearing nothing but body paint.
  • 0:26 - 0:28
    It's sexy, but tasteful.
  • 0:28 - 0:31
Anna says, "Let's turn this up!"
  • 0:31 - 0:34
And instantly it turns into the greatest party of all time.
  • 0:34 - 0:36
    With everything you can imagine.
  • 0:36 - 0:39
Even party sharks in a conga line.
  • 0:39 - 0:40
    But, uh oh!
  • 0:40 - 0:41
    What's that noise?
  • 0:41 - 0:43
    Bah, da da da! Bwah!
  • 0:43 - 0:46
    Hundreds of evil hyper-intelligent apes.
  • 0:46 - 0:48
    They start destroying everything.
  • 0:48 - 0:49
    And then, bam!
  • 0:49 - 0:52
This huge evil robot rises from the water.
  • 0:53 - 0:54
    [robot] Destroy all humans.
  • 0:55 - 0:59
This isn't CGI. This would have been a real, crazy expensive robot.
  • 0:59 - 1:00
    But then, wait.
  • 1:00 - 1:04
Here come the skateboarding CGI cats to save the day.
  • 1:04 - 1:06
    Or maybe they're teacup pigs.
  • 1:06 - 1:08
    Or cats. We haven't decided.
  • 1:08 - 1:11
The lead cat is voiced by Keyshawn Johnson.
  • 1:11 - 1:14
He hits one of the evil apes right in the junk with a bottle of Newcastle,
  • 1:14 - 1:16
and delivers some sassy line like,
  • 1:16 - 1:18
    "Deal with it!"
  • 1:18 - 1:20
    Just great slapstick comedy!
  • 1:20 - 1:21
    And Anna Kendrick says,
  • 1:21 - 1:24
    "Hey, giant robot. Game over!"
  • 1:24 - 1:27
And she leads the crowd in a massive unified dance.
  • 1:27 - 1:31
The power of party destroys the robot, like, blof!
  • 1:32 - 1:33
    It's beautiful!
  • 1:33 - 1:35
You would have cried in front of all your friends.
  • 1:35 - 1:36
    And boom!
  • 1:36 - 1:39
We would have unveiled one of those bands that yells "Hey!" a lot.
  • 1:39 - 1:43
And they're playing their hit single, with all the lyrics changed so they're about Newcastle.
  • 1:43 - 1:47
Then, Max the Newcastle Party Dog gives our hero a high five.
  • 1:51 - 1:52
    You'd be thinking,
  • 1:52 - 1:58
"Man. This ad is the best movie I've seen all year. I love when Newcastle Brown Ale markets to me."
  • 1:58 - 2:02
And then America would have sold out of Newcastle, and you would have emailed the ad to your mum.
  • 2:02 - 2:06
And a million years from now, when the broadcast signal of this epic commercial
  • 2:06 - 2:09
finally reached the alien planet of Depla-4,
  • 2:09 - 2:14
the entire race of Deplarians would have watched it and used their uni-mind to have one single thought,
  • 2:14 - 2:17
"Bee beed, dubuy degaid der baid. Dee pay pur."
  • 2:18 - 2:19
    Which roughly translates to
  • 2:19 - 2:22
"Man! I bet that commercial sold a lot of beer!"
  • 2:22 - 2:24
    Epic explosion to logo!
