Spanish chapter: Emilio (Valencia)

Hi I'm Emilio

and I've been active in the chapter

since the very begining in Spain.

Right now what I'm doing

in the movement is helping in any kind of informatic tools

and recently I joined the moderation team

also I was doing communication tasks between

different provinces, we were travelling with another company

It was to meet other people

and make the whole hispanic community be closer

with latinamerican chapters

What I like about resource based economy

especially is the most logical solution to problems

but I didn't make such a deep approach

So finding someone else who did it, saved me lots of work

It's the most logical way, if you see throughout the history, the only good things we have

Is technology, and the use of technology is completely corrupt and manipulated

So it's a redirection of our efforts and today's technology

To a human and symbiotic use with the earth

It's the best solution, I know no other one.

Though maybe someday another one appears, which would be well received and accepted by the movement

But it still is the only realistic one

Spanish chapter started

Through a very casual blog

People who always wanted to meet but didn't know how

Came to Valencia, then others met us.

In other provinces like Barcelona

Then lots of people, next big group would be Madrid

but it was very curious to see

how the people

didn't know the ideas but wanted to meet

speak about it, get more contacts

with people thinking the same

It grew too fastly

In a very short time we were making huge events

and didn't know what we would do if the growth

kept up that way

Now we're on many projects

Real, virtual

We're abandoning diffussion lately

but the projects are
diffused by themselves

so we're doing 2 jobs in 1

For the future I see

i hope

to keep up, but with more people

and less time invested in the matrix

but more in open source technology to share

among us and get independent

from the system

The situation in Spain

was predictable

long ago

and it's a clear example

of the monetary system

the stages, the way it works

the way people behave

it's very predictable though there was people

who couldn't predict it, it really was

It was not because it not being so clear

but because it was the repeat of

the same paradigm in other places

The actual situation is difficult, people is leaving

Spain long ago was a country that sent emigrants

at its best economic time, received inmigrants

and it's now sending emigrants again, mainly to Germany

and other european countries

Now the cycles are getting shorter

so in 5-6 years

we'll have more inmigration, and the cycle would start again

until the game stops and they make up something else

the truth is a very black future, but just like any other

country, it's just that this is the very first european country

starting from the south, from which it will expand towards the north

What was seen

about the monarchy and the government

about trying a change

in the situation is clearly

an example of how politics are futile

According to what I heard and know

the intention of the president were not

at all similar to

the actions he made lately

So even if they are honest politians

there's no way to change

the paradigm, even if the president

wanted to set an RBE

he cannot fight against

great companies and banks

and not even take decisions, since he is not the one who rules

and the king... he is there to

earn money, nothing else

so even if he was so honest and wanted to

a real change, he cannot, not him or any other politian

I see the transition

just like many other people I know

and met in Bratislava

open source, share technology, and create abundance

and independence from the system

through these technologies

to be step by step more independent

and not depend from big service companies

and stupid products

Cyclic consumption, don't know how to say it in spanish

So after being far from these services

being every time more free, we would reduce our working time

and dedicate more time to this

so it would be an exponential growth, as exposed in

the technological theory, and the conciousness of the people

My message:

You don't need to be more surrounded, but better surrounded.
