It's outrageous that people who are participating in artistic expression,

are facing criminal charges for a non-violent crime,

and that these charges are pushed forward by the orthodox church in Russia,

you know, people who are practicing christianity should probably be

supporting peace love and understanding and non-violence,
-
and people in the church are advocating in their detention.

They could be detained for up to seven years,
-
two of the women have children, one is a single mother,
-
and they've been unable to see their children.
-
Pussy riot have already been serving a sentence for six or seven month,
-
for a non-violent offense.

I work in the sphere of Human Rights and I specifically focus on Russia,
-
and the rights of people in detention in Russia
-
so I am sure what the women in Pussy Riot are facing
-
in pretrial detention is horrendous.

I'm sure their conditions are awful,
-
and I want them out!
