Good morning. I am Alfredo Pinto Jimenez. Though a series of videos I am teaching you how the indicators and oscillators work.

I have tried to teach in an very easy way, I don’t want to use difficult and technic vocabulary, or how those charts appear,

because that belongs to the complicated part and we don’t mind to teach or learn. To be honest it is not needed.

I am convinced in my 18 years as trader that while we do the things in a simple way it is easier. We can earn money easily; we don’t need to be complicated.

So that’s why I don’t use a complicated vocabulary. This is a kind of friendly vocabulary and speech.

I am going to teach you with this video how to the SAR works. It is another indicator, so let’s create a new tab; you already know how it is created, so let’s use the SAR.

we have it there. The SAR is also known as parabolic, so we select red, blue and thickness 2.

remember I select these colors because I like them. You can choose other colors you want. And select ok. There we have the SAR, I see the point are not too noticeable.

Remember you can change any component of the chart when you don´t like. So we select right click components of the chart,

we place the SAR and select properties, and let’s type 3 and 3 to have it thicker, and we select ok, and close.

and now we can see them better. How does a SAR work? It is so easy it is a series of parabolic charts;

we have them blue and red, the blue ones appear below and the reds appear on the top

it allows us determine when a trend is going to start or finish, it would be saying the same. It also allows knowing when we can buy or sell.

so, when do we sell? When the price, this green line is below the SAR,

if the price is above the SAR, let’s see it in the dollar- Swiss franc, we buy, here you see the SAR is here, and the price is here.

so in this case we buy because the price is above the SAR. That’s the first teaching of this indicator.

another teaching, while the SAR is further from the price the trend is stronger.

So that’s also important, when we open a position we don´t close it,

for example we opened a position here and pay attention where the price was, where the candlesticks were.

they were too far, here we keep the position opened because the candlesticks are far away from the SAR,

and you see in this moment the SAR is too close to the candlestick,

we have to close the position in that moment because in the following there is going to go out a new one to sell a SAR to sell.

so, this is also important, while it is further form the price there are more possibilities to have that trend.

Let’s see another pair here. For example here this is GER30, it is a German indicator.

so, here we are in purchase, another teaching, when the pending of the SAR, the pending is the inclination, if it is string it means the trend will be maintained,

and pay attention that it is getting close to the candlestick, the candlesticks were far.

And it is getting close here, when this happens it is a sign telling us to close the position because the trend is going to change.

let’s see another pair, the SPX500 and how it is working. It appears the first SAR to sell,

it is to sell because it is above the price, remember we buy when the SAR is above the price or below.

and it is far, it is a perfect moment to sell, because it is too far.

More candlesticks and SAR will appear, when the SAR is getting too close it advices us there is going to be a trend’s change.

let’s see another pair to see how the NAS100 is working. It is uptrend, it is still uptrend, we don’t have to operate that pair in sale because there is no an indication to sell.

this is a special case, the sale and the price which is the candlestick is too far, while the candlesticks get closer to the SAR,

it tells us a possible trend’s change, that’s why it is important to be focus on it, if the SAR is too close to the price it is a possible trend’s change. So, let’s be careful with it.

well, that’s the SAR or parabolic. Let’s create a new one which I will teach you in the following video.

So we create a new tab, we select create a chart, and we use a new one called fractal, we already have it there.

And let’s make it red and blue.

I recall you I choose these colors because I like them, and you can also choose the colors you want. You just have to change these 2 things and that’s it, and ok.

the fractal is that series of red and blue arrows we have here. I will teach in a following video how this fractal works.

But I want to do this; let’s link all of them and let’s save that profile to open a new one to avoid having many tabs in only one profile,

so we select there, save, indicators 1, and select accept, it asks if it exists and we click on yes.

we go back to the chart and we are going to have this profile saved which is going to be called indicators 1,

then as it has 10 tabs, so let’s use another profile called indicators 2, and we are going to see more indicators and oscillators.
