Salah Gaber; Father of the martyr, Jika

I want to say something simple to people from the heart

Without too much emotion.

I'm calm now

I want to tell you

your blood is more precious than anything

your lives are more precious than anything

That doesn't mean we need to accept a reality that is unacceptable to us.

That doesn't mean we should submit to things we don't want.

Gaber, Salah Gaber, that's Jika

is brother Morsy's first martyr.

He'll say something different, he'll say what he wants

But we, when they shoot our children with live ammunition and shotguns

so there's 40 pellets in his head, aside from those in the chest and lungs

That's barbaric.

There's nothing beyond that.

What will get Jika justice is if the Egyptian people understand he died for them.

Jika was 16 years old, people.

Or we submit to Morsy's declaration that gives him impunity to murder -

Jika's not the first and he won't be the last

Everyone will be taken, will be arrested

And the President who thinks he's God,

who gives the orders

who has surpassed the Prophet Mohamed, peace be upon him.

Even the Prophet Mohamed made mistakes

I even heard it from one of them, from Sheikh Qaradawi.

If even the Prophet Mohamed made mistakes, how can we let Morsi have all these powers?

He could wake up crazy in the morning and make a decision that ruins the country.

Without consulting with anyone.

He could wake from a dream and go strike Israel, and Israel will strike back and the country will be in flames

Today a new tyrant arrived.

He said "I'm not a wearing a [bullet-proof] vest'

No, we're wearing vests

But our vests are from God

If we're to be killed, we'll be killed as we sit...

And if God protects us he protects us.

And after you've killed our children there's nothing left

You'll kill us, so what?

Once you've drunk the blood of Egyptians you're finished.

Egyptians' blood is sweet, like sugar.

But watch out, you won't be able to stop.

You'll kill a second, a third, a fourth time

I'm telling you: you've given orders to kill now

People will die.

If you still believe in God, fear him

We will never create another Pharaoh,

You can kill me.

But you can't kill me unless God wills it.

Not you, not your people, not your Army, not your police.

None of those can kill me.
