Funding Communication Aids (AAC)

People who need alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) aids to speak express their views on the problems obtaining funding for this vital equipment

It is the most important thing in my life to be able to talk.

Yes, it is very important, and I do speak to conferences and schools which I love because I got Pathfinder. I don't know what I'd do without voice because it is important for people to hear me.

Because we want people to see it is our life.

They can't imagine stating themselves so they don't know how important being without voice really is.

It is my lifeline.

I have not been terrible here but ok now you can see one on the television but it does not show the true cost until you thought they had to refuse it.

Mind you an AAC device has allowed people to get jobs. They allow families to carry on functioning. They allow users to live at home. All three benefits enhance life and save the government money.
