International House of God
-
Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim
-
I'm Muhammad Azizan bin Haji Saleh
-
I'm a resident in Jalan Kebun, Klang, Malaysia.
-
As a host, I provide this house for use as a religious school.
-
Before you go to bed you should pray, "Allah huma fir"
-
Come, say it together!
-
I'm Hadi bin Suryono.
-
I'm from Indonesia.
-
If we're talking about the perceptions about Indonesians here, there have always been bad stereotypes.
-
There have been negative stereotypes.
-
That's what usually happens.
-
Because it's one or two Indonesians that come to but many.
-
So you can see a variety of attitudes.
-
Of course not all Indonesians who live here have bad attitudes.
-
Nor have they been involved in crime.
-
That's is not the only thing about Indonesians. A lot of Indonesians are good people.
-
For example, people here that participate in these activities, religious activities
-
or other kind activities that has a positive impact for them and other people.
-
My name is Didier Hossaen.
-
I come from Bangladesh.
-
I work as a machine operator.
-
There are Bangladeshi people, Indonesians,
-
Malays, people of all nations, I like them all.
-
Like this activity, whenever it's conducted and we're invited
-
I want to assimilate with others, so people know what Islam is.
-
People from all nations are the equal.
-
People would know this, so this activity is conducted.
-
So we conduct this activity not because we are Bangladeshi, Indonesians, Indians, or Malays.
-
I'm a Rohingya, from Myanmar.
-
I have had trouble living there. There're many who don't like Islam, a lot of riot happen, a lot of death.
-
Many fights happen, there are many deaths.
-
Many kids and uncles have died.
-
People are set on fire. Petrol is used and many have been burnt.
-
Many children have been beaten.
-
Many have been beaten along the streets.
-
Till death, beaten again and again.
-
Here, I found peace.
-
Here we can do performances. I feel this is a good activity, when we do it together.
-
It's good because everyday when we leave work, we have nothing else to do.
-
And we enjoy do it with all other people from different countries who live here.
-
If possible, other people should come help and join us so that this activity can become bigger.
-
As you can see, we lack equipment, many people come but there are no music equipments.
-
If people could support these activities, that would make things better.
-
We have gathered Indonesians, Bangladeshis, Myanmarese, Malaysians
-
to participate Islamic ceremonies in this religious school.
-
Of course there are religious lectures, Koran readings,
-
And of course modern Handra music.
-
We have gathered them here, to avoid bad activities,
-
and simultaneously to change bad stereotypes.
-
People say we, the foreigners, always do bad things. That is not true.
-
So that is why we built this religious school to create positive impact.
-
And our Hadra music group is ready to perform live
-
For events like weddings, children's ceremonies,
-
And of course, Islamic ceremonies and other celebrations.
