  • 1:49 - 1:57
    (Music)
  • 2:09 - 2:15
    (Applause)
  • 2:20 - 2:22
Tommy Mizzone: Thank you very much.
  • 2:22 - 2:25
We're so excited to be here. It's such an honor for us.
  • 2:25 - 2:27
Like he said, we're three brothers from New Jersey,
  • 2:27 - 2:30
you know, the Bluegrass Capital of the World.
  • 2:30 - 2:33
    (Laughter)
  • 2:33 - 2:35
We discovered bluegrass a few years ago,
  • 2:35 - 2:38
and we fell in love with it. We hope you guys will too.
  • 2:38 - 2:42
This next song is an original we wrote called "Timelapse,"
  • 2:42 - 2:45
and it'll probably live up to its name.
  • 2:45 - 2:53
    (Tuning)
  • 2:53 - 3:01
    (Music)
  • 4:37 - 4:49
    (Applause)
  • 4:49 - 4:52
    TM: Thank you very much.
  • 4:52 - 4:54
Robbie Mizzone: I'm just going to take a second to introduce the band.
  • 4:54 - 4:57
On guitar is my 15-year old brother Tommy.
  • 4:57 - 5:03
    (Applause)
  • 5:03 - 5:05
On banjo is 10-year old Johnny.
  • 5:05 - 5:11
    (Applause)
  • 5:11 - 5:14
And I'm Robbie, I'm 14, and I play the fiddle.
  • 5:14 - 5:18
    (Applause)
  • 5:18 - 5:20
    (Tuning)
  • 5:20 - 5:22
As you can see, we decided to make it hard on ourselves,
  • 5:22 - 5:25
and we chose to play three songs
  • 5:25 - 5:27
    in three different keys.
  • 5:27 - 5:30
Yeah. I'm also going to explain, a lot of people want to know
  • 5:30 - 5:33
where we got the name "Sleepy Man Banjo Boys" from.
  • 5:33 - 5:35
So it started when Johnny was little, and he started,
  • 5:35 - 5:38
he first started the banjo, he would play on his back
  • 5:38 - 5:40
    with his eyes closed,
  • 5:40 - 5:43
and we'd say it looked like he was sleeping.
  • 5:43 - 5:45
So you can probably piece the rest together.
  • 5:45 - 5:47
TM: We can't really figure out the reason for this.
  • 5:47 - 5:49
It might have been that it weighs about a million pounds.
  • 5:49 - 5:52
    (Laughter)
  • 5:52 - 5:59
    (Music)
  • 7:27 - 7:31
    (Applause)
  • 7:31 - 7:37
    (Music)
  • 8:13 - 8:19
    (Applause)
  • 8:19 - 8:21
    TM: Thank you very much.
  • 8:21 - 8:25
    RM: Thank you.
