I was with Forum Lenteng with friends

created video project, video workshop, media literacy

If we're talking about an impact of what we're created

works that we have made

started from beginning, when we create the film we must think about that...

we have think about that but a workshop which focus to an impact for our work, well we didn't have yet

maybe we named it differently

last time i was in Forum Lenteng, we have this media literacy

media literacy and it's too broad

and everybody have talk about this

like that

Hello my name is Muna Rif'atil Akhlaq

i'm from Qoryah Thoyibah Community Learning, Salatiga (Central Java, Indonesia)

There we are learning, many skills of every sort that can benefit us

and we created video, but it's not long documentary

it doesn't like a long well made film

In short we make this video which tell us about

today young people

we called it "Lost Identity"

In this video we tell a story about young people in this era who spent a lot of time in front of internet

rather than socialize with their community

Please introduce me, i'm Yuniatifa from Kebumen SMK 1 high school

and i'm with Belum Bikin Production, it's my community

The target of this film is for all level of society

We didn't target only high school, or government officials but all level in our society

and the fact that this video is providing new information to all people or new knowledge that more respect to local culture in your area

There're many have been produced and impact for personal and social

These video comes with many issues human rights i.e Black Umbrella

So in 2011, we produce this video with a producer Carolin Monteiro, that focused on women

who brought change in Indonesia

and we used two important subject and the situation until now doesn't change much.

We've followed their daily activities for these two subject, after we finished produced it this video gave us some important impact

quite strong for its subject themselves

They used the video for advocacy materials

and with this video, the subjects felt being represented it, and used it in their seminar

They did screened it and video become a powerful tools because it's visual

and i got several other film

which has theme

that close to us, Corruption and this is a fiction film

and based on true story

and the government also involve in this project

so for the government, they felt that this short made film can be an efective tools

to outreach young people

they can quickly grasp the visual language than discussion in a seminar

So with this film, they also realized what the did before was not achieved a lot of outcome

For example KPK (anti graft commissions) film production about how education system reproduced corruption

the head master and all the pupils

copy their acts on how to utilize some oportunity

to raised the books prices

then the mothers will give the false price to their husband

their husband also will cheat in the office to their bosses

So it's like producing a vicious circle with really light. I tried to capture this and it's effective enough.

and we screened this video in severals highs school and junior high school

They became more critical. So they realized that these kind of behavior is wrong.

that it been push aside for a long time.
