Redstone | Beginner Circuits

  • Not Synced
[MUSIC] Hey Surfboy20 here and we're
  • Not Synced
back for a new video which is OF REDSTONE
  • Not Synced
circuit tips for you guys. So, in case
you are not quite the Redstone master ,
  • Not Synced
here are a few circuits that will help you
get started in Redstone. So over here on the
  • Not Synced
the far right we have these logic gates.
And I will explain these in further detail
  • Not Synced
later. Over here we have the pulse
modifiers, and over here we have the
  • Not Synced
Redstone clocks. So now let's get into
each individual one and I'll show you how
  • Not Synced
to build them and how they work. So let'
s get started with the clocks. This clock
  • Not Synced
is just a simple click repeater clock. It'
s nothing fancy, it's been in the game
  • Not Synced
since repeaters were out, and here's how
you build it. You place one repeater down
  • Not Synced
right there, and you place another
repeater down right there, facing opposite
  • Not Synced
    from each other.
  • Not Synced
Then you place redstonedust here, here,
  • Not Synced
here and here. and a redstone torch and
  • Not Synced
break it really quickly right here.
  • Not Synced
so that creates the clock, simple
  • Not Synced
Now what this can be used for is launching
  • Not Synced
multiple items out of dispensers or
  • Not Synced
    stuff like that
  • Not Synced
now, over here, this is a compaitor clock
  • Not Synced
comapitor clocks are really simple and the
  • Not Synced
fastest clock you can build in minecraft.
  • Not Synced
so, this one is quite self-explainatory ubt,
  • Not Synced
I will show you how to make it.
  • Not Synced
so, right here you have your compariot.
  • Not Synced
make sure to set it on subtract mode.
  • Not Synced
You can do that by right-clicking. Then
  • Not Synced
you place redstone here, here, and here
  • Not Synced
    and thats it.
  • Not Synced
Then you can power it using either
  • Not Synced
redstone block, or a torch, or a lever
  • Not Synced
anything like that and it will start making
  • Not Synced
a quick pulse just like that one.
  • Not Synced
    just a little bit fastser
  • Not Synced
now over here this is a really really simple one
  • Not Synced
this is a hopper clock, now
  • Not Synced
a hopper clock just uses an item
  • Not Synced
    flowing betweentwo hoppers facing into
  • Not Synced
    eachother
  • Not Synced
and you take a compatior output of it
  • Not Synced
and that will give you a really long clock
  • Not Synced
so, lets go ahead and grab one of these hoppers
  • Not Synced
place on down here and inorder to place a
  • Not Synced
hopper on another hopper, hold down shift
  • Not Synced
and right click and it will place that hopper facing to this one
  • Not Synced
go ahead and break this one
  • Not Synced
and shift right click on that one so now they are facing
  • Not Synced
    into each other
  • Not Synced
then take your comparitor and set it on
  • Not Synced
the floor right in front of it and that
  • Not Synced
will be where your output comes out
  • Not Synced
you can put that on this side, this side,
  • Not Synced
this side, this side, this side or this side.
  • Not Synced
any side that has a hopper.
  • Not Synced
so now, you need to take one item and
  • Not Synced
place it in one of the hoppers and it will
  • Not Synced
    start your clock
  • Not Synced
so those are the redstone clocks I have
  • Not Synced
    prepared for your today
  • Not Synced
    now, lets take a look
  • Not Synced
at some of the pulse modifiers
  • Not Synced
okay, right here this is a pulse modifier number 1
  • Not Synced
    this is a pulse extender
  • Not Synced
so what a pulse extender does, is when
  • Not Synced
you hit a button it extends the pulse
  • Not Synced
past when the button stops pushed
  • Not Synced
so as you can see the pulse jsut gave out right there
  • Not Synced
but, the button has been upressed for a long time
  • Not Synced
so these can be superuseful for hooking it
  • Not Synced
up to clocks making clocks run longer
  • Not Synced
and other cool stuff like keeping your door
  • Not Synced
    open for longer
  • Not Synced
    and its really simple.
  • Not Synced
all these circuts i've made really simple
  • Not Synced
    so it's easy to build
  • Not Synced
so right here you can place one comparitor
  • Not Synced
and the other one facing the other direction
  • Not Synced
    and redstone, redstone, redstone
  • Not Synced
with a block and then a button
  • Not Synced
    so as you can see
  • Not Synced
it perfectly extends the signal just like
  • Not Synced
this one. so, now, lets move on to the
  • Not Synced
pulse shortener, now this one is really cool.
  • Not Synced
because as you can see watch this redstone dust
  • Not Synced
it will give a really quick pulse
  • Not Synced
almost not clearly seen but, it really
  • Not Synced
    does. so now,
  • Not Synced
I am going to show you how to build this one
  • Not Synced
now this one is a little bit more tricky
  • Not Synced
because it has a piston so you're going to need iron
  • Not Synced
and slime becuase it is a stick piston
  • Not Synced
so, lets go ahead and start placing
  • Not Synced
    down the blocks. so you
  • Not Synced
place down your block with your button
  • Not Synced
and then from that. take a repeater out.
