and today`s guest is: Duster Oroch Pickup

one blazer for this new car lines

that is the "intermediate pickups"

that is between small and medium pickups, like a Strada and S10

It was the first to appear, but nowadays we have Toro

and I want to know what is new, and why it is so interesting

at first, you can feel the power of the 2.0, 16V engine

with 20.9 kgf-m torque

so, it is a smart car for city driving

this version being tested is 2.0, dynamic, top-line

and there is also entry version, that is 1.6, 115 horse power

the combination: transmission and engine works fine,

it is a smart either for day-by-day use, or road driving

I felt it strong, which made me feel safe

it is very good

actually, it is a pickup, car version

what is different is from the center to back,

that has the truck bed

it makes you get the streets in a better way

getting in curves well

and in truck bed weight that you may have

the multi-link supension is an innovative feature

I didn't think they would include multi-link suspension in a pickup

Duster will be a competitor to Saveiro Cross 120 horse power

for example, which costs about 69K reais

that has extended bed truck

so, if you get this top-line Oroch

it is about 70K reais

this is the price suggested by "4 Rodas" magazine

where I get these prices

so, it doesn't compete directly with Toro

whose entry level, the cheaper one, 1.8, starts at 73K

and If you consider 2.0, I will check the engine liters to compare them

Toro 2.0, the cheaper one, is around 93K reais

comparing with 70 "ish" , it is a big difference

but, Toro 2.0 has 170 horse power

not 148 horse power

so, in my opinion, Duster Oroch has the best

price\benefit level as an intermediate pickup

I think it arrived to split the market of small pickups

I think its biggest competitor is not Toro

it is Strada

If I would buy a car like Toro,

I would change to a different style

because I wouldn't think about a car for work

I would think of it as a lifestyle

not considering it a practical car, cheap one

it is not a cheap car

I haven't made a video with Duster,

but Duster Oroch pickup

has exactly the same internal part, same cockpit,

same steering wheel

I will show it to you guys, how is it in here

the dashboard with the tachometer on the left

the speedometer in the center

and on board computer that allows me to

check averages, kilometers

so far, we have ridden, a total of 474 km

at an average of 7.8 km per liter

the steering wheel has got autopilot button

and here, where you turn on and off the comands
