Click Your Fortune #1: I'm currently reading... - Gillian Martin Mehers

  • 0:03 - 0:05
So, the book that I'm reading right now
  • 0:05 - 0:07
    is called The Giver,
  • 0:07 - 0:09
    and that is actually, interestingly,
  • 0:09 - 0:11
it's a book written for young adults,
  • 0:11 - 0:16
and I found that I'm finding it a very profound book
  • 0:16 - 0:18
that's discussing, you know, the future
  • 0:18 - 0:19
    and what different options are.
  • 0:19 - 0:21
And what inspires me the most about this book
  • 0:21 - 0:24
is that you can write your own ending to it
  • 0:24 - 0:26
because the ending is so ambiguous,
  • 0:26 - 0:28
and my son and I have been talking
  • 0:28 - 0:30
about lots of different endings to that story,
  • 0:30 - 0:32
which I think is a very creative process
  • 0:32 - 0:34
    of dreaming about the future.
  • 0:35 - 0:37
