But the 6P programme is causing many new problems.

So what is 6P?

This is a story that represents stories of thousands of other victims.

My name is Suwito.

I'm from Brondong, Lamongan.

There was a person who promised to take me to Malaysia.

And she said she will organise all permits for this matter.

Find a job for me.

But my boss betrayed me.

She said she would organise my permit but in reality, she did not do it.

I didn't know where else to go.

In Malaysia, there's a program called 6P.

Then I thought, I have some money saved, little by little. I joined the 6P program.

I did it through an agent.

The agent then asked me RM 300 for the 6P process.

I paid RM 300.

Then during the permit application process, I looked for another agent.

My cousin had paid RM 3000 in all for the permit.

So, I paid RM 3000.

I had paid everything for the permit to be completed.

But I waited, and waited.

I waited for many months. But my permit was not ready.

One day my cousin was arrested.

And the Immigration Department took her away.

I am now living in fear.

What if I get arrested too?

I wanted to meet my agent.

And when I finally met her, she said my permit was not approved.

So I asked her, if it wasn't approved, can I get my money back?

But the agent told me that I can't get my money back, only my passport.

I felt really upset.

Why, when I had already paid RM 3000, I didn't get my permit? I lost my money.

And I always think, what about my child?
