in the evening we got our snifter and a perfect place to set up a tent for the fourth night

I'm afraid that it will be hard to seen because of the rising sun...

but there, the city of Rab is behind those overhanging rocks

and we are paddling under the old city walls of Rab...

after we woke up, we paddled to Rab for a little sightseeing
-
we left our kayak on the shore and then took a walk in Rab, and finally we decided to see the panorama from a tower of one of the four churches

which we paddled around... although you can't see much of it from here...

I was hesitating to swap our kayak to this wonderful Harley...

but finally I was happy just taking a photo squatting next to it :)

after visiting Rab, we paddled back to the end of the Dundo Peninsula, in front of the city and spent the afternoon there

for the last night, we found a nice place on the island of Dolin

in the last morning: folding the tent and have a coffee, as ususal

the last breakfast on Rab: tastes like home, but no spirit - we drunk all on the previous 4 days
-
on the last day we had a dip again where we spent the previous afternoon

it was a wonderful beach with a lot of things to see... :P

on the way back to the starting point, we paddled under the walls of Rab last time
-
but from here we didn't made a stop, just headed back to the car at Stinića!

A short summary:

We started from Esztergom in the afternoon on August 13, but unfortunately it was almost dusk, when we
-
arrived at the parking place in Stinića, so we spent the first night there under the stars on the beach.
-
On August 14th we paddled to the island of Rab and in the next 5 days we paddled the island around with a lot of beaching and in a very comfortable manner.
-
We arrived back to the car in Stinića at 4pm on August 18th.
