This is the first lesson

I'm going to be teaching some programming

we will do some simple graphics

and simple animation

we are going to be using

a language called Processing

The first thing we will need

is to download this Processing software

The website is www.processing.org

Now that I'm in this website

I'm going to read the first phrase

to get an idea what this is about

Processing is an open source programming language

and environment for people who want to create

images, animations and interactions.

Initially developed to serve as a software sketchbook

and to teach fundamentals of computer programming

within a visual context, Processing also has evolved

into a tool for generating finished professional work.
