How to TEDx Brand TED is a nonprofit devoted to ideas worth spreading. It started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. This is TED logo. Created in the spirit of TED's Mission, “Ideas Worth Spreading”, the TEDx program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED–like experiences at the local level. This is TEDx logo. You can't use TED or TEDx logo in your event. You must use your own event's official, unique TEDx brand identity. Your event logotype should look like this one. “Placename” should be replaced with your licensee event name. The TEDx logo is unique artwork that has been created to brand and market all TEDx events. Make sure to use the correct typeface and colours. You can use this logo creator to be sure to get it right. This rule applies to all TEDx events type, adding the correspondent word to “Placename”. For example: TEDxYouth@Placename, TEDxPlacenameSalon, TEDxPlacenameCinema, TEDxPlacenameWomen, TEDxPlacenameED. Do not set the place name in all caps, or change its size. Do not change the colour of TEDx, the place name, or the “x” in the tagline. Do not invent or create your own brand! Do not place your TEDx event's logo on other colours, or on photographic, patterned or illustrative backgrounds. When you use your TEDx event's logo, it must be accompanied by the tagline “x=independently organized TED event”. Your event's TEDx logo must appear on your website. On social networks like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Google+, Flickr... Of course, on your stage design. In your booklet program. Do all sorts of things for your event with your logo, like: T-shirts, bags, banners, cards, food, flyers, tags, bottles, stages, games, pins, books, pens, decorations and everything you can imagine!
