Hey, guys! My name is Kainan Simonds.

And welcome to my very first vlog.

I've never done this before.

I'm probably gonna be really bad at this.

Anyway, it is about nine o'clock pm

and I'm pretty tired

'cause I stayed up until 1 last night

to finish "Stranger Things".

Great show.

If you haven't watched it,

what's wrong with you?

And, um, pretty much I'm gonna watch

some Netflix and then go to sleep.

I mean, it's not gonna be the same since

there's no "Stranger Things" to watch, but

I think we got off topic a little bit.

But what I was trying to say is, is that

tomorrow I have acting class out in L.A.

So I'm gonna be vlogging my whole trip

and you get to see what the last day

of acting class is like for me.

So, I'll see you when I wake up.

It's about 7:10 am

and we just got on the road.

So, we have to travel from Palm Desert

all the way to Los Angeles

which is really far.

Right, Dad?

(Dad) "Two hours"

Two hours.

We have made a quick stop

at the gas station, and then

we're gonna go, get on the freeway

and go to L.A.

Today is my last acting class of the whole

professional class at "The Playground",

which is my acting school.

So we're probably gonna stop at a store

somewhere along the way

to get some like food for it,

'cause we're having like a party.

And, um, I think basically

I'm just gonna blog that part of it.

Oh, say "Hi".

(Dad) "Wassup?"

That is my driver of my limousine.

Just kidding, that's my dad.

(Dad) "You don't pay me enough"

Yeah, I know, that's on purpose.

Hi Dad!

How ya doin'?

I'm doin' good!

Just Chillin'

It's nice and comfortable, you know.

♪ (upbeat music) ♪

Ok,

I'm getting out of the car,

and we're going to Walgreens

to get something.

I don't know what I should get.

(Dad) "You can get two."

Two of what?

(Dad) "Two bags."

No, I know, I know

but I don't know

what I should get.

(Dad) "Let's get the cheese popcorn."

Eh, I'd rather get, like, this

cheese popcorn over here.

(Dad) "Why, 'cause it's a lot more

expensive?"

No, 'cause it's better than

the Cheeto one.

(Dad) "Which one?"

This one.

(Dad) "Do you want to get

the caramel and cheese one also?"

Uh--

(Dad) "Or the sweet and salty?"

Yeah, I'll get that also.

(Dad) "Is that good?"

Mhmm.

(Dad) "Do you need anything else

Do you need drinks or anything?"

Uh, I think someone probably

has drinks covered

hopefully.

It's a nice day. It's kind of like foggy.

No over there, at the, at the light.

(Dad) "Where? Just up there?"

Yeah.

Okay guys, so we just stopped at Walgreens

and we got like some

popcorn for the party.

And now we're heading across the street–

Oh, that was fun. Yeah, I probably should

buckle up.

And now we're heading across the street

to go to my acting class.

And, yeah, I'll be, I'll vlog in there

probably.

(slurp)

♪ Let's go to the elevators ♪

♪ a-doe-do-do-do ♪

I guess it's that one. I guessed right.

I guessed right.

(crunchy chip bag)

(Gayla) "Is it recording?"

Yeah.

(Gayla) "Okay awesome.

So I just wanted to say, Kainan,

that learning to love yourself

and accept who you are–

I don't even know where I'm supposed to be

looking. I've never done a vlog."

Just, like, right there's the camera.

(Gayla) "There? Okay. So

figuring out who you are, and what's

special about yourself, and embracing it,

and just being that is the most important

thing in your entire life.

And that is what Kainan's been doing

in my class

and I'm really, really proud of you."
