2, 1, Booster Ignition... and a final lift off of discovery. As a social media manager at Nasa Headquarters in Washington D.C. I oversee all of NASA's social media accounts, and uh, primarily the @nasa Twitter account and make sure that we are engaging with our followers on Twitter. And telling them about the wonders of the universe and what we're doing with space exploration. We have more than 110 Twitter accounts across the agency, and we have 20 tweeting astronauts. It takes engagement to another level and people don't just follow us... They start, you know, really spreading the word, and becoming advocates, and telling people about their experience with NASA. We have an image of the day that we tweet out and people love, love, love the images. And video, we have great video's and um, so launch and landing videos obviously are really high. Whatever your niche interest is, you can find it on Twitter I promise. And you can connect to a community of people who have the same interest as you. So it doesn't matter how sort of, niche it is, there's a group on Twitter talking about that subject and you can be part of that conversation.
