Ararêtama is a Tupi-Guarani indian word
meaning land of light
the place from where light is born
and in this case it is consciousness
it is light as consciousness
as awareness
so this awakened consciousness
that has the capacity to choose its destiny
because destiny comes from design
so as humanity we have the capacity to design our destiny
our future from conscious choices
and Ararêtama is a system that brings
interfaces and instruments so that
we can make conscious choices for the common good
The first 7 years happened as this dive into nature
and in starting to comprehend the gestalt of this research
From the second block of 7 years
I started to design a therapeutic system
grouping together the researched plants
inside of this mandala, Ararêtama Mandala
that was created starting in 1997
as a process that each one could do
as a journey of self-discovery
to work on conditionings
So this issue of conditionings is very important
to be understood because
it is vital in the comprehension of the Ararêtama system
and of the therapeutic and educational system
that Ararêtama proposes to be
It is important to understand these blocks
in the process of the construction of the Ararêtama system
because these blocks opened ways in the foundation
of the process in a very clear way
So the first 7 years
were years of a dive into nature
absolutely guided by the consiousness
of this magnificent forest
and I always feel an eternal apprentice of
the mastering of this biodiversity
teaching me every day to become
a better human being or at least to look to this path
and the second block from 7 to 14 years
of the existence of the system
I dedicated myself to design this Mandala
and to position the researched plants
in a way that made it a journey of self-knowledge
and to apply this method
that started to be applied in an effective way
in Brazil, Czech Republic and Slovakia
so we have effective results of how much
this process can transform one
And the third block of 7 years that ends now
there was all of the search to bring diverse conceptions
that enriched the system and
grounded this trajectory and
these different instruments that were utilized
So the work on the body for example
I created a whole meditation work called Emotional Fitness
for the body, this 7-minute meditation
where the bodily affirmations of each one of the virtues
of the essences
bringing the body to participate in this journey
because the body needs to be present in a learning process
it is very important
the process becomes more complete
The production and creation of a whole
cosmetic line for the body too
Because, what happens?
Our mind is quantic by itself
so when I am here telling the story of the system
while I am here present I am also present
in my house for instance
I can also go to my house and come back in 3 seconds
What does this mean?
It means that the mind does not need to be
only present, it can also displace itself
in time and space
this is what a quantic mind means
it does not depend upon being here sitting in the chair
In order for my emotional body to go
to my house and come back
it takes a little more
because it is more synesthesic
it comes through sensations
My physical body depends upon going home and coming back
Because my mind is quantic and my physical body
does not accompany this process at the same time
there is a lag
and with the cosmetics that were created
the proposal of the system is to bring
a knowledge as close to the quantic as possible
so that we can go to the new in a more integrated manner
because sometimes the mind is too accelerated
and the body gets too tired with this process
From 14 to 21 years
there as a dedication to the creation of products
a deepening of all the conceptual side
the development of a whole theoretical and practical side
so that it could be followed with very assertive
exercises too
In this search as educator
I brought a series of elements to constitute
the emotional fitness
bringing a gym academy for behaviour
for the emotional body
because we understand really well
in the physical body the need for movement
Because what happens if I remain seated
in this chair for 20 years?
At the moment when I get up
I will move my leg and everything will be paralyzed
atrophied and I will have lots of pain
when I move
What happens with our behaviour?
When we are born we have in our neuroplasticity
a determined quantity of neurons and neurotransmitters
because we are neurochemical beings
we respond neurochemically to life
this functioning is very important
neuroscience is a very important dimension of science
for us to comprehend behaviour
We have available a certain amount of neurotransmitters
and what happens?
it happens that during the first 2 years we
sculpt this neuroplasticity in such a manner
that we leave out a potential of connections
and consequently future perceptions of reality
that are not driven due to our conditionings
that come from family, culture, where we are born, live
It is not that this is bad
this is a a necessary process
but this does not mean that we cannot work on this
so this sculpture, this sculpted design
in our neuroplasticity
makes us look at life from determined points of view
they end up generating conditionings in our perception
and we already know that as humans we
utilize a mean of 5% of our cerebral and neurochemical capacity
It is incontestable that we have a potential of 95%
to be explored
I want at least 6%, from 5 to 6%
and as an educator I feel an impulse to create
possibilites so that we extend from 5 to 5.1, 5.2, 5.3%
So the contribution of the Ararêtama system
is like a little ant that carries a little leaf of the forest
and contributes to a bouquet of methodologies
of all of the fields
so that the human being can evolve using potentials
that are here to be used but
dut to the conditionings are not
So the Ararêtama Mandala is
a method to exercise this potential
As the essences are arranged in a certain way
it is like a gym academy when we are to do a circuit
when we enter a gym circuit we don't do one movement only
50 times and then go home
and return the next day to do the same movement
we rather do a chain fo 10 exercises here
another there
and then do a chain with the trunk
one with the legs and foot
So it is by guiding a chain of movements of
perception of reality where during 7 days
we are guided by one essence, one virtue, one worldview
so that then we are guided by another perception
another worldview and another chain of movements
of percpetion of reality
This makes us tone this sculpture
that I said is designed by our conditionings
and that we can flexibilize this line
Because flexibility is one of the keys to evolution
without flexibility we have no way to experiment
our life potential in its diverse properties
forms and functions
If we don't have flexibility there is no way to
acquire another key to evolution which is life repertoire
When we are born we come with a "little bag"
and in this bag there are series of virtues
inherent to each one of us
This bag, we have a way to bring new instruments to it
new forms of interaction with life
so that we can bring and fill this bag with new experiences
we need to be flexible
otherwise we will always have one type of experience only
So the Mandala proposes to be a field of experiences
so that we can flexibilize and from flexibility
fill our field of repertoire
with possibilities that make us leave from 5%
and can evolve and make good use of
all our potential that is here to be used
The issue of flexibility is very important
because we have a tendency to stagnate
in our internal victims
so because my father did this, my mother did that
because I did not get food at the right time
so there is a tendency to justify our difficulties
through events of our childhood
and without doubt our phisiology
is formed by larger or smaller traumas
so we are not diminishing profound trauma
the issue is that we will never be able to
dissolve the trauma of our biography
that is an illusion
they are there, they are even part of our richness
what we are able to do is to integrate this trauma
to understand this trauma in the light of
a new perception
without having to always come back to the same issue
but to have the capacity to recognise rapidly
and to integrate to the present and react adequately to events
In the process of the Mandala
and one of the proposals of this journey
is the capacity to get in touch with certain deep pains
but not to remain in this process for too long
to get in touch and have the capacity to come out
and to face life in a new moment
when entering again, to have diverse tools
because teh emotional fitness runs 31 essences
31 different ways to face and relate to life
so tehy are 31 new ways and tools inside
our "little bag" when we end this journey
so rapidly we exercise entering an issue and coming out
diving and coming out
through these different ways
So we have the Mandala
with 8 different levels which are
Origin and this one has to do with our identity
who we are, honoring who we are
having space to flow and through our innocence
without needing to resort to social masks all the time
The second level, Vital Strength
is to have strength so we can wake up in the morning
and interact with life
Movement, the third level
is to perceive life as a platform of experiences
where all that is stagnated is an illusion
movement is a principle of life
the movement of our unconscious to the conscious
as much as from inside ourselves in an interaction with life
Relationship, the fourth level
because we are social beings
this occupies our thought sphere
either because we are in a relationship
or because we don't, or our relationship is complex
so we are all the time in this inner dicussion about relations
the fifth level is Life Experience
it is to perceive that life is an opportunity and that
many times we through away years of
our existence because we don't perceive
opportunities and are always playing victim
or giving attention to what we don't have
instead of giving attention to what we have
and amplifying our possibilities
so coming back to that issue
of the 5% and reaching 6%
And then we have the Cleansing level
which is the capacity we have to discard what has no use
and to focus on what is indispensable
to exercise and go from the microcosmos to macrocosmos
and from macro to micro again
they are exercises that make us clean the field of priorities
so we can have Grounding, the next level
to bring our life projects in a way
that makes us happy in our work
so we can't suffer with our choices
and then going to the eigth level
which is Wisdom
and the concept fo wisdom of the system
is the dance, it is to bring to the heart
the paradox between the intellect and the instinctual
and at the Center of the Mandala
we have a complex, an essence
which is Rudá, which brings the need to metabolize
our life experiences so we can get the best out of each event
we have a physical metabolic system which is fundamental
in relation to what we ingest, our food
because we are not only what we eat
we also depend on a metabolic system that works
We have our lives but we are part of a species
of the human species
and it is very important to understand how habits are
incorporated in a species
because from there we can also understand
how much we are responsible
for our development, the quality of our relations
and the quality of this species that we are part of
so we have a choice to make
we can participate passively because we participate anyway
even if we are doing nothing
or to actively participate in a process of evolution
So let us understand how a habit is incorporated by a species
Let us imagine that I am a mother monkey in the forest
with my monkey puppies
and suddenly when strolling in the forest
one fruit falls, a new fruit that I had never seen before
and I pick up this fruit, scratch my teeth on it
I hit the fruit on a rock
and I start to interact with this fruit
and my puppies jump over me
and by instinct I realize it is not venom
and I start to chew it
and this repeats itself for a day, a week, a year, 5 years
until all of the monkeys from nearby groups
start to also know that this fruit is eatable
there is a certain number reached of monkeys that
when they know this fruit is eatable
this information is passed on to all of the species
in all of the places in the world
through an invisible field of information
which is invisible to our field of perception
but we must understand that our field of perception
is a field of 5%
so in this invisible filed of information
the information is passed to the species
and this is called Morphogenetic FIeld
and one of the great researchers of the
Morphogenetic Fields is Rupert Sheldrake
an academic of Cambridge University
who I had the honor of knowing and accompanying
in a certain moment of his research
and today through research he brings the foundations
of this Morphogenetic Field
of this field of invisible lines where the information transits
All of what we don't like in the human being
and that we easily hear in a circle of friends
"this is absurd! when I read the papers I hear this
absurd news" etc.
But all of this absurd is part of a human species
where we are co-producers of this construction of knowledge
As educator and human being, mother, friend, companion
I start to research the ways that can make the human
a better human being
I start by bringing the issue that was very well
explored by the Sufis
First of all of the 3 centers of the formation of personalities
which is the Instinctive, the Emotional and the Intellectual
So there are many issues that intellectually
we can ground ina a brilliant way and that we can feel
in our emotional center
but the great problem is when we get to the instinctual center
because instinctively we are beings that separate
ourselves from one another
by the issue of sameness
we separate by clans and culture
you don't see white cows and black cows
separated in the field by colour
but you see human beings separating based on colour
This is in the instinct of the human being
The only way we can work on the instinctual
and I don't know another
I am not closed to other ways
I am only saying that the system brings this contribution
is through a conscious way, a daily choice
of what one wants from life
and from this conscious choice
Ararêtama system proposes a work on the 3 Ecologies
How can I work on myself
becoming a better being at every moment?
This is the 1st Ecology
How can I deal with my relations making them
qualitatively better through choice, too?
This is the 2nd Ecology
How can I bring to the community where I live
the society I am part of
a reflection of my actions and thinking
of the community in a positive way?
This is the 3rd Ecology
How can I contribute?
If I become a better human being I am already contributing
to the 3rd Ecology
If I make my relations better I am already contributing
to the 3rd Ecology
and if I do something for this society
I also contribute to the 3rd Eoclogy
So this is a model where by incorporating
the vibrational and floral essences
when I bring the essences
I bring an interface of the intelligence of this biodiversity
inside our neurochemical field
so that it can be a help to our evolutionary process
If this forest was able to solve a serious problem of survival
on an infertile soil, constructing a complex web of life
where 75% of the active life on this forest
rests on the tree crowns that comes from this
social and biological intelligence
so when I bring this intelligence inside of my physiology
I learn with it
also the way to solve this relation with my inner complexity
with my shadows, my dichotomies, my paradoxes
which is a difficulty
it is our richness but at the same time
our paradoxes can be obstacles to growth
so when I propose diverse mandalas
as ways to exercise perception and behaviour
I propose an exercise of life to a process of evolution
that is personal, social and planetary
The first Mandala, the original one
of the Ararêtama system
is the heart of this methodology
and that gives origin to the Basic Course
and is a program made as a process of rebirth
it has the duration of approximately 10 months
where the essences are incorporated in the process
and it can be made in 2 ways
One as a passive mode where you simply take the essences
and observe the results
and the second way which I find more complete
is that when taking the essences you are
at the same time paying attention and
exercising to become the virtue of the essence
This is a work in the formation of this
methodology that comes from the research
on transpersonal psychology of Stan Grof
which has foundations in the dramaturgy coming
from shamanism because dramaturgy
ha as initial source, shamanism
the performance and dances in relation to the humours
of the Earth, are perfomratic processes in ancestral
and more primitive cultures
they give birth to the dramaturgy and theatre
so this is also an aspect that can and I recommend it to
be incorporated in the journey of the Mandala
in the sense of becoming that virtue for 7 days
so it is a conscious exercise
where you teach your reaction meachanism to life
to have new ways to deal with the events of life
It is a known fact that all that is alive communicates
communicates between themselves
so the human being has an arrogance of thinking that
it possesses the most sophisticated forms of communication
or sometimes even that only humans communicate
Nature communicates all the time
and all of the research and production fo the floral
and vibrational essences take into account
the communication of virtues
the messages that are brought by this nature
When we reasearch and produce an essence
we collect messages coming through these plants
that are intelligences of the ecosystems
In The Secret Life of Plants, a book published
a few decades ago
researches were reported to be made in an university in India
whith scientists putting electrodes on plants
and these plants communicating through sound
So it is very important to understand that the floral
and vibrational essences can also be understood
through mathematics
So when I report that at the beginning of my experience
the portal that is opened through a liana that communicates
or through a mushroom that speaks
I consciously choose to bring to the world
this speech a as if it were a child reporting an experience
because when I bring the child I bring the portal of innocence
when I connect to the portal of innocence
I reach the language of the heart
The Mandala can be travelled
many times during a lifetime
so it is not a process we run through once and that is it
it is a method that can be worked on innumerous times
I have facilitators of the system that have
travelled the Mandala 10 or 12 times
because at each moment, new content emerges
And when I cite the transpersonal influence
in teh process of the construction of the Mandala
it is related to rebirth and gestation
we have issues that are absorbed during gestation
especially fusion phases with the mother
that end up being printed in the physiology of our behaviour
and that emerge during the process of taking the essence
I have a case of a person whose mother suffered
a possibility of aborting during her 3rd month of gestation
and when this person reached the 3rd month of the
Mandala, some impulses came and wishes to abort
the work and to stop doing the Mandala
of wanting to change work and end relationships
so it is very interesting how it arises processes
that are printed from a long time
So teh Mandala is a filed of possibilities of
transformation and self-knowledge that is very multiple
It is important to understand the difference
among the fields of allopathy, homeopathy
and floral and vibrational essences
In allopathy we have the presence of 100%
biochemical elements
so when we buy a tablet and analyse it
we have 100% of inserted products in the tablet
In homeopathy we have biochemical presence
but in more elevated potencies
we have the presence of information through waves
because we study in quantum physics life in
the form of matter or wave
in quantic bioogy which is the study in loco
in nature and not in the lab
as it is in quantum physics
we have the presence of matter AND energy
they are different states of a same manifestation of life
So in allopathy we have 100% biochemical presence
in homeopathy we have half biochemical and half
with potentializations, the presence of information through wave
it si also where phytotherapy fits, with the presence
of organic material
and in vibrational and floral essences
we only have the information
the virtue of the plant
in an imprint on water which is an excellent conductor
of information
but it is through waves
Waves of knowledge that are absorbed by water
So they are waves of information printed on water
and we can understand this mathematically
In allopathy, phytotherapy and part of homeopathy
we have the presence of 1.0, an integral presence
in vibrational and floral therapy
we enter into fractions
waves are 0.0001 of biochemical presence
and this is the mathematical reproduction
of the waves imprinted on water
and water becomes the matrix of this source
of knowledge and wisdom
that then is transformed into bottles and products
So when I choose to speak about the experience
in the forest in a pure way
it is like voices that talk to me
like when children spontaneously interact
in the diverse dimensions of expression of life
it is not because one can't speak in another way
I can say that the information arrived through
some signs coming from the nature of a plant
because communication happens and this is a study
of decades in universities all over the world
the fact that the human being thinks
this is magic or sorcery
is absolute ignorance of the researches made
for several years already
So in quantum physics labs
in quantum biology labs
Bruce Lipton, Rupert Sheldrake
and various researches bring this knowledge
the issue is that there is a discrepancy
between what exists as research and
what is taught in didactic books at schools
in biology, and the quantity of information
that teachers have nowadays in relation
to research that is done
I consider Ararêtama and the contribution
it has in society
and that which moves me when I receive testimonies
that sometimes come from inner Brazil
or from cities of the Czech Republic
or from places in England
with gratitude for having made use of the essences
and of the system
for having surpassed very difficult things
I owe my trajectory and my contribution to society
to my group of friends with whom I coexist
for more than 30 years
I am certain that this style fo life
this choice made at the beginning of post-adolescence
this wonderful partnership of life that I have with
Susana Maiani, an architect, a wizard jeweller
a Nagual, a person that brings such
an uncommom existential love
this partnership with her and Mauro Liberali
who today goes with me many times to the forest
a very important presence after Zac passed
Ricardo Airoza, Daisy, Irene, Michel
so all of this pool of friends thati I have
and that I can bring a deep thanks to
for having had the opportunity to choose
to live with a group of friends that today
is on the 3rd generation in this coexistence
and it is a great challenge
but I believe it is the contribution of this
intelligence of the forest together
with the coexistence in community
is a small contribution to society
but I think that if each person brings their little leaf
it is possible for us to produce incredible things in the planet
so I feel very awarded by this choice and friends I have
How did I get to the Czech Republic?
Well, in 1997
I will tell a little about my trajectory in foreign countries
so I started the process of getting in touch
and deepening myself in the forest
starting at the beginning of the 1990's
and launched the system from 1992 to 1993 in Holland
and Belgium and later in England
From there the system spread
and in 1997 I went to represent Brazil
at the Findhorn Conference in Scotland
and when I got there I decided to do
a ludic game
I got a pendulum and the conference catalog
and I asked the catalog
"Catalog, catalog of mine
who of the people present here
is related to my life destiny?"
I got the pendulum and managed it
And to all of my friends and representatives at the time
the pendulum said No
It made big No's
They were really present people in my life
This way I went with the pendulum running No
until it made a big Yes on the name of a person
Cale Carson, a producer of essences from Hawai'i
and lived at the island of Kaua'i
and I had never heard of him
and he was also not part of the main conference presenters
So I thought, I will look for this person
I put the catalog under my arm
and asked many people in teh following days
hey do you know this person? and noboby knew
then on one of the days there was a presentation
of the people that were not main presenters at the conference
and I entered the room and sat on a vacant chair
and asked the person to my side with the catalog
"Do you know this person by any chance?"
And he showed his hand and said "It's me."
And there we established relations and contact for a year
and he invited me a yearlater to give a workshop in Kaua'i
at his house
and when I was arriving at the island at his house
an email came from an email from Prague
asking him if he recommended another system beyong his
and he said Sandra from Brazil is arriving at my house
so I will put you in touch with her
This way for a year I was in touch with this therapist
until he invited me to teach the first course
at the Czech Republic
and this way my trajectory started there
and he was a therapist that later
tried to steal my brands and register them in his name
but after a juridical process
Sirkova like a little warrior got the system in her hand
together with Veronika Sablova in the Czech Republic
and Slovakia
and with this a work vortex was created that
is very efficient in Eastern Europe
It was there too that I met Bea Benkova and Jan Polak
who are 2 work partners
Bea came to a workshop and at the time she worked at a bank
and she never imagined her trajectory
of creating a whole work for extraordinary women
and later giving origin to Diphil Institute
whose main nucleus and conception brings
all of the virtue of the atantic forest
in the contruction of a new planetary culture
The conception of the Institute and the idea
of the issue of the metaphor of the star that constructs
the constellations, bringing this as a model of leadership
The 3 Ecologies as a focus of work on
the personal, social and planetary improvement
weas incorporated by the Institute but has its origin
in the methodology of the Araretama system
Today, Araretama is present in diverse institutions
and NGOs, helping these communities to work on traumas
and to transform the biographies of children,
giving them possibilities for concentration, study,
and an emotional dignity making them more apt
to deal with the current world.
We are developing a methodology for childrenm based on
the Atlantic Forest.
We work on leadership for the 21st century,
with leaders working from this model of the forest,
tranforming teams into a community of
biodiversities of talents of co-management.
