  • 3:36 - 3:42
    (Applause)
  • 3:42 - 3:44
    Thank you.
  • 3:44 - 3:46
    Thank you so much.
  • 3:46 - 3:48
    Got to catch my breath.
  • 3:48 - 3:50
I am out of shape but --
  • 3:50 - 3:53
I am going to play for you one more song tonight,
    or this afternoon.
  • 3:53 - 3:55
And this is a really meaningful song to me
  • 3:55 - 3:59
and I just wanted to tell you a little about
    what it means to me.
  • 3:59 - 4:01
    This song is called "Transcendence."
  • 4:01 - 4:04
And I wrote it at the time of my life,
    I was kind of, probably,
  • 4:04 - 4:05
at the lowest point of my life.
  • 4:05 - 4:07
    I didn't quite know who I was.
  • 4:07 - 4:11
    And I was surprised at
the person that I thought I was finding.
  • 4:11 - 4:14
    And I wrote this song
    and I called it "Transcendence"
  • 4:14 - 4:16
because 'to transcend' means not just
  • 4:16 - 4:19
    to get through something
    or get passed something,
  • 4:19 - 4:22
    but it means to completely
    overcome something
  • 4:22 - 4:24
    and become better for it.
  • 4:24 - 4:29
So in my own life I found that
    during that time period
  • 4:29 - 4:34
I found passion and I found that I was able
express myself through something I love.
  • 4:34 - 4:39
And I really think that's kind of what saved me,
and helped me in that time of my life.
  • 4:39 - 4:41
And I love being able to share it
    with other people now --
  • 4:41 - 4:43
And just like it's been said
    over and over again,
  • 4:43 - 4:46
    by finding passion and
    by sharing with other people
  • 4:46 - 4:49
we are able to work from the inside out.
  • 4:49 - 4:50
And that's how we find happiness.
  • 4:50 - 4:53
So I just want to encourage you all
to take what you've learned today
  • 4:53 - 4:56
    and to transcend.
  • 4:56 - 5:04
    (Applause)
  • 5:04 - 5:06
    (Music)
  • 5:06 - 8:48
    (Violin music)
  • 8:48 - 8:52
    (Applause)
