Nora Jaccaud is the creator of Human Postcards, an ongoing web series of 60-second video portraits capturing the powerful messages of everyday people from around the world. In this talk, Nora shares what she has learned from interviewing over 100 people from around the world.

Born and raised in an artists and writers residency, Nora developed an early ability to listen, watch and assist artists. This skill opened up the doors to many countries, cultures, and experiences, which led her gradually to documentary filmmaking. After receiving her masters in dramaturgy at Sorbonne in Paris, she worked as a curator and director in contemporary art and cinema in Europe, China, and the U.S.A.
