Uma comunidade simples diariamente manuseia orquídeas. Não estamos falando de flores e sim de dinheiro. Um dia surgiu a ideia de levar o conceito de economia solidária para os moradores desse local. Eles entenderam, abraçaram a ideia e, com as orquídeas, estão transformando a vida da Comunidade São Rafael na cidade de João Pessoa.

A simple community handles orchids daily. We are not talking about flowers but of money. One day the idea to bring the concept of solidarity economy to residents in that location. They understood, embraced the idea and, with orchids, are transforming the lives of the Community São Rafael in the city of João Pessoa.

Natural de João Pessoa, Flávio Gomes sempre viveu na comunidade São Rafael; estuda administração e teologia pelo STN, confiante no impacto de sua entrega, atualmente é voluntário no Centro Popular de Cultura e Comunicação (CPCC), onde atua como Agente de Orientação Profissional e Agente de Crédito do Banco Comunitário Jardim Botânico, que criou a moeda Orquídea, utilizada localmente, que tem mudado a realidade de sua comunidade.

Born in João Pessoa Flavio Gomes, has always lived in the Community of São Rafael; he studies business and theology at STN, confident about the impact of its delivery, is currently voluntary in Popular Culture and Communication Center (CPCC), where he acts as Career Guidance Agent, and Credit Agent of the Community Bank Botanical Garden, that created the currency Orchid, used locally, which has changed the reality of his community.
