Click Your Fortune #2: Imagined careers - Alessandro Centrone
-
0:05 - 0:06I always had the idea
-
0:06 - 0:09that I wanted to work for a company
-
0:09 - 0:11maybe in the financial world.
-
0:11 - 0:15Maybe I was somehow biased and affected
-
0:15 - 0:17by movies like "Wall Street."
-
0:17 - 0:19So, I grew up in Italy
-
0:19 - 0:21and watching movies like "Wall Street"
-
0:21 - 0:24where movies that were picturing
-
0:24 - 0:26this image of successful people
-
0:26 - 0:29managing in a very successful business environment,
-
0:29 - 0:32and it was something that was really intriguing,
-
0:32 - 0:34only to find out later on
-
0:34 - 0:36that the world is not exactly
-
0:36 - 0:38what you see in those movies.
-
0:38 - 0:40But I guess I had a clear idea
-
0:40 - 0:44that I was very attracted by a career
-
0:44 - 0:46in an international environment
-
0:46 - 0:50and an environment where corporate challenges
-
0:50 - 0:51were probably one of the things
-
0:51 - 0:53that would have interested me.
-
0:53 - 0:55So, I think it turned out
-
0:55 - 0:57that things were not so much different
-
0:57 - 1:00from what I projected when I was in grade school.
